Old joke:
Went to a fight last night and a hockey game broke out!
:-)
Somewhat agreed.....but Don Cherry doesn't, so I am deferring to him.
He says the game is safer if you allow fighting. Interesting take.
Did I mention he's welcome as a citizen here anytime? Saw him grousing at the Montreal fans who booed the US national anthem....boy did he light into them. Gotta love the guy.....

I'll come back in between hockey stuff.....game is almost starting
Don Cherry absolutely hates liberals. He probably gets a lot of threatening letters, petitions to take him off the air up there......

Well, my son-in-law is a much more honorable man now. After he left, he was simply amazed at the reactions of both sides of the family and his friends. I think he thought he could eat his cake and keep it, too. He lost a good job because of this, also. Within a couple of months, he was begging to reconcile with my daughter.
She said no and divorced him. I wasn't there, but she tells me he sat down on the floor and cried when the judge finalized the degree.
So, he tries and tries to get her back and finally, after a year and a half, she gives him another chance.
Now he is a man very dedicated to his family and his church. He has learned a lesson, but the scars will always be there in their marriage, I suppose. And I will never think the same of him again. We mamas just naturally want to protect our own.
But, one thing that nauseates me is when children are hurt more than they already are in a divorce...as in a nasty custody battle, which, sometimes is nothing more than a cruel attempt to hurt their ex.

When I grow up, I want to be just like Sen Kerry and own 5 multi million dollar homes

I am laughing so hard. It is funny, but not far off the mark for their convention.
To: Conservababe
Good - we needed an adultery-break here...the dims convention should be highly entertaining for sure.
Cheers back there, I'm off to prep for a three-year-old's birthday party. Still my heart.
Out.

I hate to scare you Lynn, but never trust a judge, especially female thinking they will lean towards the mother. I have a story I will tell you..and make it short.
My daughter went thru a similar situation, with the husband and kids.. The judge made her get a job to prove she could provide for the three kids and herself, while the no gooder collected phoney disability for years.
She got the job, got the apartment.. and you know what the 'lady' judge said after all that? Your husbands home all day, he can better care for the kids. HE DOESN'T WORK!!!
She worked..and supported herself like the judge told her. He never wanted the younger girl, he didn't really bond with her, (lol) but he got the two oldest. The second to the oldest left him as soon as she was old enough, and the second one later during college.
So eventually she got them back but had to pay child support to the low-life that never worked a day in his life.
I hate to tell you, but don't depend on the courts to do the 'right' thing today, they are easily bought.. Either by their liberal agenda, or who knows what else..
Fair warning, if it was me I would go into that courtroom LOADED for Bear..

"how's the transfer going? Is it final yet?" The paperwork was sent in to the state 2 weeks ago. It is now officially in the bureaucratic engine awaiting official approval, so the answer is, no. Not yet.

"Singing fish is big down south???" It really must be culturally sterile up there. All them dead fish on your wall and not one of them sings???? Mo, you're just not paying attention to your southern lessons. I don't how many of them my dad has. I was so disappointed. I was going to get him a singing fish for Father's Day a few years back and discovered he already had at least one....back them.
From Jeff Foxworthy: "If you have more than one singing fish on your walls, you might be a redneck."
