And I get soooo hot, which doesn't help. I almost think maybe I should turn the heat wayyyyy down before work and run in something colder than mid-sixties temperatures.I do stuff like that when I work out, 'cause even if I feel cool when I start out, after a little while into it, it feels warm anyway.

How people down south can run in eighty or ninety degree temps is beyond me.
I suppose you get used to it, but...geesh!
Maybe genes come into play, too? I wouldn't think Norskis handle heat very well. Scots either.

So how do you find the story? Have people started dying yet?Not en masse, but I sense that's coming. . .Story's starting to pick up pace, still trying to figure out how the plague got to the present. Starting to wonder if Dunworthy screwed something up, too and it wasn't just Gilchrist--hmmm. . .

How do you like the bellringers, and Mrs. Gadstone, and Finch? I love the supporting characters in that story - Agnes and Rosemund and Father Roche in the past.

I think it's mostly getting used to it, which probably includes adjusting your diet to fit the increased water/salt/calorie intake needs.
Got some bread that just finished in the breadmaker here. Waiting for it to cool off so I can cut it :)

Yes, Colin reminds me of some of the bothers.
I liked Finch a lot. He was amusing. He's somewhat changed in "To Say Nothing of the Dog", which has a very different tone and is set a few years later, anyway. Are you going to read that one?
