I'm going to bed. It's way too late. See you tomorrow!Good night!
To: msdrby
Yikes, is that the time? My boys are both snoring, and I have been kicked out of my bed again. Eh, doesn't matter, cuz at this time of night, I am usually transitioning to the couch anyway.Okay, I guess I'll head that way, too, then. Have a good night!

"Next thing you know you'll tell me you haven't seen Airplane!"
Well, I almost put "Princess Bride" but then I thought, no, no, no, no way this guy on a LOTR thread hasn't seen PB...

sever his corpus callosum connecting his right and left brainsI hate it when that happens.
It's like my left hand doesn't know what my right hand is doing.

90% English, with some Scottish and a German or too for good measure. That sounds like me practically. Are all your people from the North?

Who cares that your greatgrandfather was a bootlegger? LOL! I had an uncle who was a bootlegger; did a stint in Parchman prison. His wife cleaned out his bank account then divorced him while he was inside. When he got and and got on the straight and narrow, he met and married my Aunt Heppie. Never knew Uncle John, but the stories that my oldest brother and sister tell about him are a hoot!

I sent pics to all of you for posting with some comments. I could only send two each cause of the file size. If you all could get them posted to share I would appreciate it. I havent learned how to post them yet. greybeard told me a little and I'm not sure if I could even do it from here. Thanks again everyone.

Good Morning Bear; yup, she is, thanks. Had a couple of cups of coffee so we're a fixin' to take our walk.
To: 300winmag
300winmag, I doubt anyone of us here could ever fathom what goes on in the mind of 'the pointy hair executive' that made that call.
Regarding the sheath knife, since the other isn't in the picture anymore and you feel the mid-size isn't satisfactory, it might just be the way to go.
I hope a few others would chime in on it.
btw, if the new HH knife is the sheath model, I reckon I have a place for another HH knife. :-)

Morning! Did Gypsy enjoy her walk? Is she a morning dog? Miss Cat was up early wanting her Fancy Feast.

WN.... you have pictures from Entmoot that we don't have on the site!

Have fun on the first walk!
Tell us about new pooch! Have you discovered what she already knows?

Doughboy crawled out of his den today- is doing yardwork, possibly building a shed. More details to come... but first a teaser: he's trying to mow sticks with his lawnmower (and it's not working too well- keeps stalling. LOL).

I love the "Princess Bride" book! And it's not expurgated, it's the good parts version.
Yeah, I asked for that one, in hardcover, for Christmas. Zoo of Death, the beauty rankings - the ending...

I was at the library Friday and checked to see if they had a copy of Beverly Hills Cop; no luck. Like I said, I saw Princess Bride, though, just didn't remember that quote. Might have to add some memory chips to fit more quotes in here--got a whole gig of Airplane ones up there :)

It's like my left hand doesn't know what my right hand is doing.Ouch!--LOL!
To: Fedora
If you can't quote it, you haven't seen it.
You have read "Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy", right?
