President Bush traveled to New York today to participate in the groundbreaking ceremony for the Nassau County 9/11 Memorial in Eisenhower Park, Long Island, being built in memory of the 281 residents of Nassau County who lost their lives in the 9/11 attacks, and visited with families of the victims. Before he left, he made a statement to the press regarding the terrorist attack in Madrid, Spain.
He also visited USA Industries, an automotive parts manufacturing company in Bay Shore, New York, and spoke to workers about the economy and jobs training. He then attended a fund raiser with Rudy Giuliani and Governor Pataki.
There are lots of fabulous pictures today, so enjoy your trip to Sanity Island on the Daily Dose !!

Hoosiermama, your place is just beautiful (your home page photos.)
May I ask where you live, specifically?

I am feeling that they are catching on to shut up
Maybe it's just a little Darwinian evolution going on. The ones that didn't shut up are dead or in prison. The ones that are left were either reticent to start with, or figured it in a big hurry.
What that portents for future terrorist attacks is beyond my pay grade to speculate on.

Good Evening Dear and Ladies,
Little delayed here this morning, shower tanks empty, I hate it when that happens!
Thank you all for your prayers and concerns, I just want someone to hack the stupid thing off here and get back to finishing up all the stuff I got to do.

That Noonan one is good.
I wouldn't worry about the 'Rats learning anything from the free advice. As Rush has demonstrated repeatedly, that's not one of their talents.

I can't take Ceftin any more (allergy) but thank goodness, there is no damage to my kidneys.
I thank ALL of you who prayed for me. I deeply appreciate and regard it.

This is one of the few times that I actually agree with Darwin.

If jlyspio keeps posting those pictures, some more of us around here are going to be needing a shower ... <grin>.

So very sorry to hear about Mike's skin cancer - scary when you aren't there with him. Basal cell is generally slow growing and easily treated in a doctor's office. Since Mike doesn't want to leave his troops, I hope it can be handled in Balad. Meanwhile, prayers abound.

Did anyone else make the connection that this attack in Spain is on 3-11? I did.
