The Hobbit Hole VI - And Whither Then? I Cannot Say...
Posted on 01/31/2004 9:52:08 AM PST by ecurbh
Welcome to The Hobbit Hole!
And Whither Then? I Cannot Say...
The Road goes ever on and on
Down from the door where it began.
Now far ahead the Road has gone,
And I must follow, if I can,
Pursuing it with eager feet,
Until it joins some larger way
Where many paths and errands meet.
And whither then? I cannot say.

Hehehe...
Presbyterians don't dance either. It's not that we think it's evil... we're just a bit, um, staid. And it's a scary sight when I have seen Presbyterian dancing...

The 7th is about here...TacomaMoot.
We'd best nail down the particulars - time etc.

Evening; having a wonderful time this evening rediscovering sound; slowly the left ear (the good one) was not working as it should, watching closed captioning even. Once I recuperated enough from the 'Munge' to determine it wasn't cold related, I actually went to the Doctors; 30 minutes with a waterpic in the ear, it was good as new. (good thing nurses have strong stomachs) Simply amazing, can even hear the keyboard clicking and the clock ticking. Bet I'll jump a foot at work tomorrow when the phone rings, better turn down the ringer. Simply wonderful feeling.
Hair; "and Coffee and Cookies will be served in the Church basement"
Ksen and IOTN, prayers for employement as soon as possible.
G'nad; great news on thenewboy. Snowing off and on here.

What do you think? - What time do you want us? I should be HERE sometime in the 4-6 o clock time period to feed ponies, doesn't take long but I need to be home to do it...... so we should either get-together early, where we would have to leave.... or late, where we would feed early and come up with all evening free!
To: osagebowman
We will talk softly now that you can hear!
To: osagebowman

Perhaps we should do the afternoon -- while there is light and you can see the various sights. We know where we want to take you. Why don't we meet (moot) at my house around noon? We've got some great spots to hit for pizza, beer and sightseeing. Do you still have directions to my place?
To: Scott from the Left Coast; Ramius; ecurbh
Yep - still have the directions!
Noon it is!
To: HairOfTheDog
Or maybe 11ish would be better than noon...
To: Scott from the Left Coast
We are early risers.....
To: HairOfTheDog
OK, let's go for 11, so we'll have enough time for everything.
To: Scott from the Left Coast
Very good!

I didn't mean to put a damper on the thread, though! Carry on...Ya didn't... at least to me.
There are still plenty of things I'd like advice on...or to discuss...or to tell her. I guess that'll always be.
I think it's a good thing that we've had people in our lives we think of that way.

No, I'm here!
No, I'm not, I'm going to bed. Gotta sleep... tomorrow is another day. Or maybe it's the same one. Ever had a month that feels like "Groundhog's Day"?
Good night!
