I have yet to find a good ginger tea here! I don't know if Celestial Seasonings makes one or not. I HAVE had regular tea with some fresh ginger in it - something Overtaxed clued me in on. But I'd like to find some premixed.

I like regular ol' black tea, too. And green tea, especially with a little lemon.

I kinda thought maybe he was more egotistical than deliberately sinister--like maybe a mad scientist type who thinks he's doing something for the greater good but his pride leads him to create a Frankenstein.

That sounds closer to the truth. But there are some very interesting twists later on.

I didn't think it was a perfect book, but for the most part really enjoyed it. Except that it's a hard one to put down...she does a good job of keeping you guessing and wanting to see what bit of the mystery she'll reveal next. And jumping from time to time keeps things moving.

Note that "Bedtime Tea Party" made it into the keywords awhile back. Seemed like for awhile OT, 2J and I would all end up here with a cup of tea to chat for awhile late in the evening...but lately they've been slacking!

And the anime we have is fansubs - I guess it's taped in Japan, fans translate and subtitle it and send it over here. Um, I don't know how the great anime smuggling rings work, so that's all the detail I can give you. Name of my supplier is protected ;-)

I don't know if there's an Asian grocery store in your area, but they tend to carry ginger tea along with a lot of others. Jasmine is also good.

No Asian grocery, but you just jogged my memory - I can usually find Asian specialties at the local natural foods place. It's where I go for the really GOOD soy sauce and such. And they have a big selection of teas! I'll bet they've got some there. Have to check next time I'm there.

I dunno much about tea, celestial or otherwise...

I'm enjoying a nice barley and hop tea, of sorts. Light on the malt on the rear of the tongue, medium sweetness on the front, but with a modest hint of fruity texture. All in all, a fine bitter. A Redhook ESB.

What?? It comes in pints? :-)

I like the fact that she's done her background research in Old English as well as in medicine and time travel--very thorough job on the science side of the SF. I like it so far, but I'm not ready to join Jen in putting it above LotR yet--of course I think LotR is the best fiction book in the world, so it's a high bar to clear :)

Was going to tell you guys...when I was looking for books on tape, I found that they have Beowulf in Old English. Not something I'd wanna try to run while listening to, but I've GOT to get that out sometime!
