The Hobbit Hole VI - And Whither Then? I Cannot Say...
Posted on 01/31/2004 9:52:08 AM PST by ecurbh
Welcome to The Hobbit Hole!
And Whither Then? I Cannot Say...
The Road goes ever on and on
Down from the door where it began.
Now far ahead the Road has gone,
And I must follow, if I can,
Pursuing it with eager feet,
Until it joins some larger way
Where many paths and errands meet.
And whither then? I cannot say.

OK, I'll check near produce.
I use the oven. Breadmakers intrigue me, but I've never been able to talk myself into spending that much...plus kneading is kinda relaxing. The only part I don't like about making bread the old fashioned way is the cleanup.

I think they're thicker...different texture, in any case. More like egg roll wrapping.
Phyllo dough is good for baklava, though. Mmmmm...baklava.

I've seen some cheap breadmakers at Walmart... maybe you can persuade someone to get you one used for a birthday or something?

Maybe! But I like just making it, too. Just don't like cleaning up the flour and the doughy bowl and my kneading mat thing.
*yawn*
I'm REALLY tired. Should hit the hay soon.

Those people are so just *crying* to be hacked in a fun a entertaining way.
It would serve them right. Something fun, yet mostly harmless. Use lots of color and art. Maybe a main page redirect to the Bush/Cheney 2004 campaign. :-)
Not that I would do such a thing. That would be wrong, and possibly illegal. I would never consider such a thing.

Anybody here?
I've got a few minutes to chat and I have fallen too far behind to waste time catching up! :-)

Speaking of writing, writing problem I'm working on tonight: how to work an extensive backstory (think on analogy with Silmarillion) into the main storyline without disrupting the plot flow with too much exposition. Any ideas? Know any writers who are particularly good at this who would be good to read?
To: Ramius
Maybe a main page redirect to the Bush/Cheney 2004 campaign. :-) Oh my, that would be too funny! I think the whole place would implode!
