Heavenly Father, we return to give You thanks for the family of believers gathered around giznort. We pray that You would touch her mightily with Your healing hand ... that surgery would go well and that the mass is benign. You have told us to be anxious for nothing, but that is so very hard to do, Creator God, so with a conscious decision, we give this situation to You. Remind us that when we are tempted to take this worry and fear up again, we are to again give it to You. And the peace of God, which passes all understanding, will keep our hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.
We praise You, O Lord, for standing with giznort in the midst of this trial. In the Name of Jesus, Amen ...

Prayers are with you for strength and understanding. I am a 17 and half years survivor of of level 2c ovarian cancer. I know how scary it all can be but be assured that you are in God's hand and to always lean on Him not on your own understanding.

Prayers for you, giznort, and encouragement too. Several years ago, my obgyn discovered that one ovary was many times its normal size. Ultrasound test indicated bad news. Surgery was scheduled for three weeks later. I prayed so hard during that time that huge amounts of heat were generated, and when the doc when in to remove my ovary, he picked it up, turned it over and over, found it to be totally normal, and put it back in. It's still just fine.
Refuse to have any sickness or disease, and pray like crazy. We're here adding our prayers to yours!
God bless,
PW

I've gone through what you are going through. I was told at the time that ovarian cysts are very common. Mine was benign, but of course painful and scary. May God grant you peace in your spirit, mercy in your diagnosis, and wisdom in your physicians. Amen.
To: giznort
Fear of the unknown is understandable, and especially in light of the possibility that you were told you face. May the God of grace and comfort, Who knows all things, and is all powerful, merciful, and good, surround you with His providential care and see you safely through this ordeal.
Keeping you in prayer. God bless.

Day 2. I'm in the wait stage: wait for the office of the surgeon (the OB-oncologist) to call ME to set up an appointment for and exam and the surgery. I waited all day for my regular OB-GYN to contact oncologist's office, and the only word I got was that she got through and that they would be calling me. Unfortunately, that didn't happen.
I want to thank you all for your prayers. You don't realize how much they mean to me, especially last night when I was basically shell shocked. Your prayers definitely uplifted me and if you could find the time and you think about me, I would appreciate your continued prayers. Thank you and God bless you all.

TexasCowboy, Simcha7, TEXOKIE, BillBears, MeeknMing; and all prayer warriors;
Could you please ping your wonderful ping lists for our friend giznort?
She is waiting for the call from her OBGyn to have a large cyst on her Ovary removed. They always warn you that they must remove those things to make sure they aren't cancer, which of course is a scary thing until the day it is removed. She has asked for prayers, and now must play the waiting game.
Ah yes.. the AWFUL waiting game!!
Gentle hugs and prayers for comfort. MAKE ALL RESPONSES TO giznort please :o)
Dear giznort;
Of course we'll pray for you until you get word of when the surgery will be, have the cyst removed and get word that ALL IS WELL!!!
God Bless you and comfort you!! Keep us posted FRiend, K?
To: giznort
SHALOM and BLESSINGS!
Dear Giznort and Family,
Oy Vey...the waiting is the Hardest part to get through.
You are Not in the "Waiting Room" Alone!
Your Family and those of us who Care about you here at FR are with You and the MOST Important ONE Who is with You Right Now IS...Our LORD!
HE knows Your Heart and Understands why You are uncomfortable, so HE has brought to You His Comfort in many small ways...just take a moment and think for a second?
Was someone extra nice to You?
Did You stop to marvel at a Flower, the Sky or the Sun set?
Did Your Family try to fix supper, wash the dishes or do some extra chores without a fuss?
All those Little Blessings of Love were from The LORD!
HE LOVES You and HE cares about You!
The LORD knows Your every need, HE also knows the Desires of Your Heart, and HE is there Right Now...Holding You Close just like a Shepherd holds a Little Lamb close to HIS Heart!
Lets Pray.
Avinu Malkeinu Our Father Our KING,
We lift up to Your Throne of Grace and Tender Mercies Your Daughter: Giznort.
Give to our dear Friend Your Strength and extra measures of Grace to get through this waiting period prior to her surgery.
We ask You O LORD our GOD Creator of The Universe and Giznort to Touch her body with Your Nail Sacrred hands and Heal her.
Take away ALL Fear, Pain and Confusion.
Give to Giznort Your Immeasurable Love and send to her Your Holy Spirit to bring Your Comfort and Rest.
We ask You O LORD to give to Giznort's Doctors, Nurses and Care givers Your Wisdom and Discernment, help them to make Good and Godly decisions concerning her care.
LORD, we know that YOU will be the GREAT Physician on duty in that surgical suite, we ask YOU to guide the surgeon's hands and give to him/her Your perfect peace.
Help our dear friend Giznort to TRUST YOU LORD, for You O LORD are the Giver and Sustainer of LIFE and the Giver of Every Good and Perfect Gift from above!
JOSHUA 1:9
"Have I not commanded you? Be Strong and Courageous. Do not be terrified; Do not be discouraged, for the LORD your GOD will be with you wherever you go."
We will wait in the "Waiting Room" PRAYING for Giznort's Victorious Praise Report, for YOU O LORD our GOD are Faithful and YOU have heard our Prayers!
For We Pray In THE NAME That Is ABOVE ALL Names.
Amen ~ and ~ Amen.

I will keep on praying for you, giznort.
roylene and I have corresponded via FReepmail, because I found her post about being a 17-year survivor of ovarian cancer fascinating, and wanted to know more. I think her story might encourage you and I think she is willing to share it here on the forum. Would you mind writing it again here, roylene?
It is very true that we walk by faith and not by sight.
