I heard that Mahatma Gandhi got off early from the gas station and is there cheering on the Rams. Poor, poor Mohandas. He should have stayed at work. ; )

Hey guys, hop on over to the Patriots-Titans thread. It's lonely over there right now.

And to think. The Saints could have had Jake Delhomme for less money.

I call that reaching deep down. Given the way the O-line had been getting blown to pieces on the last two possessions (two sacks and a run for a loss on the last three plays) the fact that the QB got to actually take his entire drop was a reversal of trend.
But in the end the good guys won, death to dome teams!

One of the best playoff games I have seen in a while, and, I'm an AFC guy, I generally could care less about the NFC, as long as the Eagles don't win.

It used to happen every year on New Year's day, when the Rose would run over into the Orange or Fiesta. NBC would delay the start until the Rose was finished.
These are professionals, not brittle twigs.

I'm happy for my Panthers. Only their second trip to the playoffs and to make the NFC championship both times. This time lets win it.

Oooh in college, more proof that college ball doesn't rate compared to the NFL. You're right these are pros, MILLIONS of dollars invested in these guys, you don't risk them stupidly for a couple of ratings points on one channel and not another. Delaying the start of one game to wait for a different game not on that field to end is a stupid idea, college shouldn't have done it, the NFL shouldn't do it. And there won't be any complaning in the press.
