Well, there has been a tape surface from 2000, in which he was berating the Iowa caucuses as merely a venue for the extremists. Now, he's havening to eat them words, and Campaign Carl was pressing him for a response earlier today and has kinda a classic Dean clip. He says something like, "Well that was when I didn't have no money, and now I have a message"!

'Caucuses' still doesn't look right after spell checking, and it doesn't catch 'havening' LOL!

I have actually been busy today; unexpected company came to town and we're having marinated pork tenderloin, etc. Overslept until 10:00 and couldn't figure out what you were up to this morning - who was starting the thread, who was deleting. Got me off to a fine start this morning. Took three cups of tea to figure it all out...

DEBKAfile reports strong rumors spreading in Baghdad Friday claiming Saddam Hussien's former personal aide Abaad Hammud died suddenly in American confinement. The rumor is not confirmed from any official sources. Hammud was captured 4 months ago in Iraq.
