My Dragon Fly and Me

If I could be a Dragon Fly
and wing my way through the sky
I would never be shy
just me and my Dragon Fly!

By moonlight we ride the wind
chase the comets tail for fun
by day we would hide from the sun
our fragile wings would come undone

On darkest nights we would use
fireflies as our guide
we would dip and we would glide
through the heavens open wide
and scatter diamonds in the night sky
my Dragon Fly and I...

And we would wing past our lovers
silent in the night...
to kiss their face in our flight
much to their surprise and delight
my Dragon Fly and me in sight...

Such a view do we share
away up here in the air
of breezes soft through our hair
my Dragon Fly and me a pair...

She Is My Fire

She moves like oil on water, smooth as a dream, and inviting as temptation,
a visual art form that gives pause and shortens the breath.
I watch her flow across the room, and I wonder at the mechanics of allure’s sensation,
seeing her advancing through space and my dreams unsheathe.

She bends to give me a kiss, and I feel the heat of her igniting me,
the heat rising as I begin to let her magic envelope my senses on fire.
Skin like watered silk, caresses mine, and I start at the spark we share, as it must be,
passion rises to new limits, and we both know the outcome we both desire.

Later we are bound in shared fire, passions bright, burn like light,
illuminating the depth of our needs, played out on the canvass of bare skin.
Gasping in the grip of need, we hold on to keep the world somehow right,
and shattering we free our grip on reality, falling to lay in slick sweat again.

Shaking with spent forces raging across nerves and hearts, we hold on,
finding an anchor in each other as we descend to the normal world again.
Slowly we reach for that place we will occupy until we make love till dawn,
once again joined in fires of the soul, welding us in pleasure to the edge of pain.

Ok Trike, I gave it a shot since you insisted. :) It's even more embarrassing going up against one of yours but here goes. No laughing now fellas.


He moves in a matter-of-fact like manner, paying attention to detail
smooth and slow but definate
He seems non chalante otherwise
but not so when he makes love to me

Softly, yet with his full strength he pulls me to himself
and he begins the slow careful caressing of my skin

I join in his playful ways and loving touches
Soon we are committed to an end we both desire
taking our time, the heat intensifies
the fire burns and we continue to rage until our passion explodes

I hang on to him as we become one
Holding him tight as though I were clinging to life itself
Lost in the thrill of shear pleasure

Our energy spent, we wrap ourselves around each other
Deep in a lover's embrace, calmness and warmth envelope us

He waits, I rest
yet while embers still burn,
once again his timing in perfect unison with my desire,
he resumes his loving strokes across my warm skin
our eyes meet and we smile in anticipation
as we know the fire will soon ignite again

Second Dog

It’s tough to be the younger dog,
But he still does it great.
He’s always quick to chase the ball,
For playtime he ‘s not late.
He’s short and fast and full of fun,
Yes he’s a happy dog.
He lives there in the White House,
And he’s a cam’ra hog.
George W. is his best friend,
And Spotty likes him too.
This little guy’s named Barney,
And fans, he has a few.
