My Dragon Fly and Me
If I could be a Dragon Fly and wing my way through the sky I would never be shy just me and my Dragon Fly!
By moonlight we ride the wind chase the comets tail for fun by day we would hide from the sun our fragile wings would come undone
On darkest nights we would use fireflies as our guide we would dip and we would glide through the heavens open wide and scatter diamonds in the night sky my Dragon Fly and I...
And we would wing past our lovers silent in the night... to kiss their face in our flight much to their surprise and delight my Dragon Fly and me in sight...
Such a view do we share away up here in the air of breezes soft through our hair my Dragon Fly and me a pair...

Good morning feather. I'm about to leave my cozy little room to go get some STARBUCKS!!!
See you later. How's everything now at your place as far as remodeling?

Morning snippy!!
Enjoy your STARBUCKS!!
The remodeling report. Slowly I am getting my house back in order or let's say the order I am used to.
I opted out to finish the woodwork painting for now. I will finish this job after the Holidays.
My parlor is back in order and that is the best part for me. I spend most all my time here, because it's where my computer is. Some Christmas decorations are in place. I don't decorate as much I once did. I like Christmas lights so I have those on and my fiber optic Christmas tree.
My kitchen is still in a bit of disorder. I have some boxes of things that need to be put in storage. That's the problem with older homes no closets to speak of. I will have to put them in the basement.
When I get back to the painting issue it will be easier to do. I'll just have to move my printer away from the window that needs a second coat of paint. Same with the doorway.
Today I am off to my Finnish Club's annual Christmas party. We have a huge meal, roast fresh ham is a tradition. A member is preparing the ham. Everyone else brings a dish to pass.
I'll be reading my work as I always do.

I haven't had the pleasure, but holy cow, what a page!
Pleased to meet you, Trikebuilder. I hope you don't list "people who are slack-jawed at your ability" on your page because that's what I am.

Somehow I am at Point
Boy to man with anoint
Watching the brave move through sands
Through daunting hostile foreign lands
Daring to fill a Nation's demands
Those little boys with such heart
Insuring us all that we can start
Safe and secure every day
What else can I say

Some humor!
"I think the pilot on my last trip was pretty new to his job. I base that on his pre-flight announcement, 'We're going to be taking off in a few... Whoa, here we go!'"

From A Manger
A common place, a stable bare,
not the place for a babys rest.
Yet it did serve with wondrous care,
and a manger made a babys nest.
Noble, common, are all the same,
in the presence of the King of Kings.
Humble in that light of hallowed name,
all were blessed as Angels sing.
Now today we need Him more,
and some forbid His presence there.
Those who live His words, open many doors,
and those who dont, are beyond our care.
From humble places do we come,
and only He may rise us up in the end.
All our sins and blessings set the sum,
and we are weighed as He does tend.
From a Manger to Heaven was his path,
and we will follow, if He deems us to.
Honor Him, earn not His wrath,
Live his ways as we were created to do.
Celebrate the Birth of the one true King,
give true due to Him of whom we share.
Stand firm in your Love of Him, let it ring,
how sweet the day we remember to care.
