Welcome to The Hobbit Hole!
Where Many Paths and Errands Meet...
The Road goes ever on and on
Down from the door where it began.
Now far ahead the Road has gone,
And I must follow, if I can,
Pursuing it with eager feet,
Until it joins some larger way
Where many paths and errands meet.
And whither then? I cannot say.

Vey cool poem...I really always like Robert Frost. He's one of my favorites. I love simple, down to earth poetry...and he lived right around here (used to know someone who lived in one of the houses he lived in), so I can identify with much of what he wrote.

He's so very descriptive that he just transports you to whatever situation he is describing!
He talks about walking around in the snow and you almost feel the chill air!
Although that's not hard to do today!

Romance may wax and wane, but undying friendship is basis for a long relationship.
/my sidewalk philosophy...You're a wise woman, 2J. SSQ always says that loyalty is more important than love in a marriage. He says the same thing, loving feelings vary during the long years of marriage, but each needs to know that the other will be there, when the loving feelings return. That has proven true many times during our 28 yrs! ;o)

I make a mean Enchilada casserole and yummy Spaghetti Sauce! I'd be happy to do both during our time there! I'll eat almost anything except brussel sprouts and collards!

Forgot the drinks part of the list. I'm bringing down some yummy flavored decaf coffee we can have during the week. Don't know if you can find the flavor there or not. It's called 'Holiday' and is sort of a cinnamon-hazelnut flavor, sweet and warm! If you know that Publix or another grocery sells it, let me know and I'll just get some while I'm down there, or you can get some when you go. I mostly drink water with meals, but also like gingerale. I'll enjoy some of the adult beverages that may be available! Can you get Sam Adams beer down there? Their "Winter Lager" is especially good! I also like Gallo's "Cafe Zinfandel"; it is a blend of their red and white zinfandels and is vey good! I could pick up some of that on the way in from the airport if you'll clue me into where I can find a package store. Does Publix sell wine and beer? I can't remember from when we were in Key West if they do or not. I do remember going to a package store, but that may have been for the rum and Midori Liqueur.

hehehehe....
Sure did. My daughter nearly had a heart attack because I stood right next to one while it was sunning itself on the bank of a canal. He wasn't that bad though...maybe about 6-7 feet.
I wasn't scared and Frodo's feet were less than 4 inches from the beastie's tail. :-)
Alligators look scary, but they are generally very passive. The only danger is wading into the water close to a nesting spot. I highly recommend that folks who come to Miami visit Everglades National park and ride or walk through Shark Valley.
I mean, where else in the world can you walk or ride your bike right up to wild alligators? There was a gator every 5 feet or so on the trail, since it was so sunny and warm yesterday.

I'm just hoping they just need one form of ID.That's all we needed when we flew in August. Keep them close by cause you'll be asked for them at the check-in counter and at the gate when you board the plane. Where are y'all catching the connecting flight?
