Yes, it does give a different display for blocked.
I have been wondering about this number in question though. It used to ID this person, but now it gives me the unavailable message. And the phone number hasn't changed.
And yet, I do get a specific message for "Caller ID Blocked" when someone has it blocked so that doesn't seen to have happened with this number.

Yes, the display says "Caller ID Unavailable." Because at first I thought the caller had blocked his ID since the number used to show up. But, now it says "Unavailable" where some numbers from other callers say "Caller ID Blocked" That's not this one.
But, now that Myranda is living so far out of our cell phone area, she also shows up as "Caller ID Unavailable."
So, I had been just ignorring all "unavailable" calls but now I have to answer them in case it's Myranda. And I'm tired of telling this guy I don't want to go out with him!!!

On my phone, if I have a number set up in my phone's address book (is that what they're called?) it will display the name that I attached to it rather than the actual caller ID. If you don't want to try blocking the number, try adding it to your phone's address list; then when he calls, it should display the name you gave it when you added it to the list, even is his caller ID is unavailable. Then you won't have to remember his number, it will show his name, and you can ignore it. ;)

OT: looks like it's starting to taper off, radar shows it too. The snow plows just made a pass. Still can't think of any reason to drive as of yet. Samantha enjoyed walk, but was happy to return home. Our neighbors did about 10 minutes of "play with child and dog(s) in snow, throw snowball, make snow angel...the usual Currier or Rockwell scene. Unfortunately the news crew wasn't around. First time the dogs have been out or their back yard in a year. Glad they board their horses. :-)
gnad; that's why I don't try to download things, even on LSA 'puter. Just comes into slow over the phone line.
Corin; glad you are dodging the bullet on flu scene, you're plate is plenty full. Wise choice not to do the Pagent this year.

Wise choice not to do the Pagent this year. Pretty amazing isn't it. I've been thinking that all day. You know I knew all the logical reasons to not do it, but I always have those. This year tho, there was something stronger. I just couldn't do it. I couldn't go back to choir. But I couldn't articulate the reasons that are now so clear.
I am convinced there was Divine guidance involved.
