AMERICA - The Right Way!! (Day 1054) [Remember the Trade Center!!]
Various News Sources and FReepers | December 10, 2003 | All of Us

Posted on 12/10/2003 4:06:23 AM PST by Chairman_December_19th_Society

We will not tire, we will not falter, and we will not fail!

Good morning!!

Do not let the victims of the attacks on New York and Washington, nor the brave members of our Nation's military who have given their lives to protect our freedom, die in vain!!

A USA Today/Gallup poll shows American support for the war in Iraq at its highest levels since last August.

AOL will lay off approximately 2% of its workforce.

President Bush warns Taiwan from pursuing independence.

And the media has a new tool in their continued attempt to be biased toward the Criminal Party--running stories that indicate people are believing the media to be biased against members of the Criminal Party. The latest was a piece in the not-known-to-be-confused-with-a-conservative-mouthpiece Boston Globe: Students Criticize Debate Media.

Note to liberals: it isn't going to work, we're on to you.

For AMERICA - The Right Way, I remain yours in the Cause, the Chairman.

Well, that was why I was upset when W. said he was going to sign the legislation, and everyone said not to worry, that the USSC would smack it down....

Yes, I remember that. I was not part of the "everyone" however.

I am going to go home now.

I haven't figured out if I want to read Dr. S's "Oh the Places You Can GO" or "Run Dick, Run".

It just depends which one is not too deep for me.

I felt like running today, I cut down a pine tree bout 4 to 5 inches around and the darn thing fell on my truck and thank goodness it fell on the bed of the truck. Then, I cut down a bigger tree and it fell slap dab on my newly transplanted trees. I decided to put the chain saw up and take out the heavy shears and cut some small bush, no problem with were they fell unless it fell on a ant or worm.

OK, I will admit I got cold up there, it was in the 40's but the wind was howling out of the north so I didn't do all that much, just stayed busy. Going up there again tomorrow and start fixing my pole bean poles. I found some Bamby that was about 30' long and will make some good poles for the beans. Man oh man, I sure love it up there.

D made a big ole pot of soup today, just what I need for supper so with that I shall depart and engage in satisfying the ole stomach. Talk to ya'll a little later on.

Toby, take care of yourself. Sometimes the things you do are scary.

Well, tonight was a very short night at the golf course. 3 hours. Wow. It costs me an hour in gas to get there and back.

I managed to scald my hand this morning with the stock. It's feeling somewhat better now, but it really was a pest trying to cut veggies with a scalded hand.

You, sir, are a gentleman and honest.

If you were a democrat, you would have blamed her for you being wrong. ;>)

It really is sad. I hope that congress changes it's mind and repeals that law.

Evening Dog! It's a pretty depressing development. I want to get at least some of the opinions and read the justifications for this decision myself.

The WH Christmas show is very interesting. The production is drawing the viewer into the decorating effort very nicely.

Buster is pretty cute, besides being a hero.

It's amazing: no Live thread for the WH Christmas special on HGTV...

And over the weekend, there was no Storm thread....FR is slipping...

Are you still here? I have had a frightening evening.

I went to granddaughter's Christmas program tonight, which was very nice. When I left the church I pulled out onto the street and an approaching car started to pass, coming at me head on. Rather than slowing down and getting back in his lane, he sped up, pulled onto the grass on my right (the front yard of the church) blasted through the Church's sign and hit two people, the church secretary and her husband, who were leaving the church. The car continues speeding and left the scene. I am almost positive both people were killed, judging from the severity of their injuries. I had to give a police statement and will be called as a witness.

It was very sad and scary, how such a nice evening could turn into a tragedy so quickly.
