We will not tire, we will not falter, and we will not fail!
Good morning!!
Do not let the victims of the attacks on New York and Washington, nor the brave members of our Nation's military who have given their lives to protect our freedom, die in vain!!
The United States, Canada, the European Union, and Japan all worked to force rejection of UN control of the Internet.
The Secret Service intends to interview Eminem after his "President Dead" rap.
And an investigation has been launched into several animal deaths that have occurred at the National Zoo of late - 23 over the last 6 years. Part of the reason for the investigation centers around allegations of incomplete or falsified record keeping regarding the care of the animals by vets.
For AMERICA - The Right Way, I remain yours in the Cause, the Chairman.

LOL! I just knew someone would suggest that. If he doesn't cooperate soon, it may be me who shoots him.
I have the volume on Fox News turned up high to drown him out for now. That is about to get on my nerves as much as the howling.

This silly cat must have been raised on kibble because he didn't know what to do with turkey scraps after Thanksgiving. I would have thought that would be instinctual, but he wasn't having it.
I will have tuna salad for lunch (was wondering what to have) and put some tuna out. I'm sure he will be able to smell it from 10 feet up! Hopefully he will be more impressed with it than he was with turkey.
How are your tortilla shells holding out? Ours aren't disappearing as fast as I thought they would, even though we both really like them. I think the Atkins program has nearly killed the urge to snack.

Have been fascinated by the Sunday talk show thread and its spin-off, the Hilary Clinton archive thread.
A possible connection is on the LA Times this am. 120 column inches, 12 of them above the fold on the front page, are devoted to the Tonken case. The reeking one is not mentioned. It seems almost every "celebrity' in Hollywood is and "political connections" consist of an almost charitable connection to Gerald and Betty Ford and the BF Clinic.
This may be the beginning of an "everybody does it" push, positioning the Times so they can say they were there first, or just the usual fawning over these Hollywood jerks.

As opposed to the "other party," who's mantra seems to be: "Ask not what you can do for America, ask what you can do for the party."
A writer in this month's Atlantic Monthly (probably Hitchens) complains that the two parties are so similar and banal. Coulda fooled me. I'd like to ask him just what "President Gore" would do.

Sad to say, I have lost my tech resume, so I was making some calls to places I have worked, to see if I had left a copy on server hard disks (very likely), and it came up in conversation that a former employer wanted to see if I would be interested in doing some contract work for them before the end of the year. I'm waiting on a call back. I may have struck pay-dirt in the effort to find a copy of my resume.

That's great! I hope it works out.
Hubby home for lunch...still not feeling up to snuff. I am trying to shovel out the mess from having been sick last week and ignoring housework.

TIME Exclusive: IRAQ INSURGENTS SHOW OFF FIREPOWER TO TIME I hope they track down the journalist swine (redundant?) who wrote this piece and try them for treason.
There has to be two witnesses to their overt act to obtain conviction.
I think the criteria can be met.

I'm sorry that you guys are getting hit so hard with the flu this season. Prayers continue for a quick recovery.

b4 ~~~ saw your reply at the end of yesterday's thread. No problem .... it's easy to get confused at times with who is where. And, btw, I neglected to send congratulations to your son. Give him an 'attaboy' for me, ok!
Still don't have my pingy thingy going dingaling. I found a thread about it yesterday and some were saying that some pop-up stoppers and firewalls don't permit it to work. Since I have both, I'm assuming that's the problem.

Afternoon everyone!
I'm organizing my Thurs. a.m. prayer group to bring baked goods, etc. that day, so I can bring them home, and then my husband and I can deliver a few boxes of food to the National Guard unit headquarters on Sat. a.m.
Apparently the unit is hosting their families that day at their hdtrs. and will need lots of food for everyone.
So now I'm headed out to get the supplies.
Cold and gray here.
This week, I'll be busy singing and baking! LOL! The former I love, not really thrilled about the latter...sorry, john...LOL!

I know you may think you know what I said, but I'm not sure that you realize that what you think I said is not really what I meant.

Hey Dog, Gore backing Dean, wouldn't you loved to be a fly on the wall when Kerry got the word? Betcha he used a whole bunch of 'dem words' being he has shown us he is a 'man of the modern times'.

Ack! This linux distro didn't come with the fortune command. That is totally unacceptable. I'm googling for an RPM as I type.
How about a laptop that at random times says a random fortune. Think the housekeeping staff will freak out?

I don't know. I'm having fun teaching my computer to say cute things. I know, I need a life... ;>)
I am going to go visit my brother in a little while, but I'll be back.
