Yup.
I'm the middle kid.
And sis is the 'youngster' of the family.

The only time I've heard anyone scream my name, it was in abject terror.
Almost as if I were the most evil thing they'd seen.
Hmm..

Er, sometimes I wonder if he was exchanged.
Then someone points out how we're alike & I
just have to.... *blood curdling scream again*
*sigh* Trying to point out the differences
only gives me a headache.

She's used to it by now.
Or at least she should be.
She grew up being a little sister who was raised as if she were a little brother.
*Frogs? They aren't sceeery*
Ask her about the boy she chased with a frog.
*chuckle*

Thanks for the link to the vet manual. I've done some google searching for info on chronic renal failure in cats, and found some useful stuff, and some not-so-useful stuff.
Fortunately we caught the renal failure in the early stages, and Maia is doing well with just a change in diet. The vet has recommended that she get fluid therapy every two weeks, just to make sure she doesn't get dehydrated. Our biggest challenge is to keep her from eating the other cats' food. It's like, um, herding cats.
