I'm beginning to wonder if the current cat foods don't have something to do with so much "renal failure" in cats? I wonder if they are high in sodium or something. It just seems strange. My cats were even given purified water. Although, who knows what they drank before I got them since they were all rescues with horrible stories.

My mother is from Saakatchewan.
I have an Aunt and some cousins who live in Coquitlam, near Vancouver.
I was to Vancouver a couple of times and my mom and her sister lived in Vancouver before mom got married and moved to the states with her American husbans. (My dad)

It's been cold Pippin, very cold. I see some sunshine this morning tho. So perhaps some of this snow will melt. It's actually been quite miserable. As long as we get another long hot summer, I guess I can put up with a "real" winter again. We have had 3 years with very mild winters and without the snowpak on the hillsides, water becomes a major problem. Agricultural area here - many Vineyards, and other Orchards. PLUS, we had fires from HELL this summer.!

YUP!! I'm here. It's so nice to be able sit at my home computer in pj's and slippers, drinking coffee. I've been waiting for this all week and what a week it was. Hardly made it home from work before 7pm any night.

Sounds like what they're getting out in California and other states out west.
Makes me glad that for once I live on the East Coast.
