OMG - I LOVW that cat!! I have one "rascal" also. Buttons just about "undecorates" the tree EVERY BLOODY Night!! If I didn't need the sleep I'd sit in a dark corner with my squirt bottle. That is the ONLY thing that seems to work on him. He's a bad boy!!
To: catpuppy
Oooooh that's a gorgeous picture!! I could handle that.
To: Canadian Outrage
Squirt bottle doesn't work on this one. Not much of anything works on that cat, until he takes a good mind to quit whatever it is he's doing. Like I said, Budge calls him "Dammit" for a reason. LOL!

Great collection of photos...I was in the process of getting ready for a trip down to that area, when the Zapatistas staged their revolt...The lady who traveled with me in those days got scared, so we called the trip off...
Never did make the trip...Did hear later there was no trouble for Gringos, just a lot of check points...

To: Mo1
Good luck today Mo.. I'm glad the kids had a great Christmas in betwixt all the sadness..
To: grannie9
Thank you Grannie .. the older girls are doing ok and Carly really doesn't have any idea of what is going on and I've been trying to make things as normal as possible for them. I've explain to them what to expect and that if that are having a hard time with it all, to just let mommy or daddy know and we'll help
I don't want them to only think of my mothers passing .. I want them to remember all the fun times they had of her.
Please say an extra prayer I don't wake up late .. if I am late for this funeral .. I am dead meat
I've got every alarm in this house set so that will all get up early ..
OK .. I'm really goning to bed now

Well, I did it...I watched it all. One of my Christmas presents this year was Ken Burns Civil War on DVD. Twelve hours, I think. I bawled like a baby through most of it, really.
It is as Shelby Foote says...If you don't understand the War Between the States...you do not understand your own country now.

Good night, MO. Tomorrow will be good for you. Traditions and rituals help people hold together and move forward.
