I can't deal with politics and world news today. I'm moping. LOL
I just saw a couple of snow birds on my deck. That means it will be more than flurries no matter what the weatherman says. I know my birds. They are actually called juncos and everytime they come to my deck, it snows to accumulation.

"Court rules Guantanamo Bay prisoners should have access to lawyers, American court system" Prisoners?
What Prisoners?
You seem to have been misinformed, we have no prisoners at Guantanamo Bay.

The pod people at the DU seem to be running out of material so
they're recycling Jim's post on the evil democRATs. I love this post:
"If Democratic principles are EVIL then welcome to Mordor."
Indeed. And I am going to see ROTK in just over an hour and was already seeing democRATs in the faces of the orcs and the Nazgul and the other evil creatures. Now I will be seeing Mordor as the DU. ROTFL! Not sure if this will enhance the experience or detract from it. Of course, there is a scene in The Two Towers that always reminds of the DU, too. At Helm's Deep there is a grating that crosses an opening over a stream of water that goes underground into the caves and sitting on the outside of the grating there are a couple of large rats. I really wish I could get a photo of that image. It would be the perfect graphic representation for the DU.

"we have no prisoners at Guantanamo Bay" If the military wanted to getr real clever now, they could relocate the prisoners to an undisclosed location and let them send all the lawyers they want to GB. They wouldn't find anything. After all, the court didn't specify that prisoners at any other location had to have access to lawyers. (It'd be a real bonus if we could lock up all the lawyers).

If the military wanted to getr real clever now, they could relocate the prisoners to an undisclosed location and let them send all the lawyers they want to GB. If they want to get really clever they will move them to Nellis AFB, Area 51. There are already Supreme Court Rulings that no one has a right to find out anything that happens there. It is a Judicial Black Hole.

... move them to Nellis AFB, Area 51.Of course, we'd have to re-classify the prisoners as aliens but that shouldn't be a problem.

Of course, we'd have to re-classify the prisoners as aliens but that shouldn't be a problem. John Walker Lindt is in prison in the US, so all of those left are aliens.

Send them to the tunnel works at Groom Lake.
Force them to dig tunnels.
End of history for them.
Breaks muh heart.

I love your post office! How cute! Post Offices are not supposed to be "cute".
They are places people pretend to work until they gather enough rage and ammo to "Go Postal".
Unless, of course, the lights can be considered camouflage.

I have often wondered if the Clinton Demo's -
1- Was Clinton watch responsible for the Oklahoma Bombing?
2- If they knew it was going to happen
3- If it was a political payback for helping Clinton win?
4- Clinton's try to say it was Right Wing Conspiracy yet much of the bombing was covered up by hindering the investigation of the bomb spot and tear down and remove all evidents.
5- This whole gang of anit USA defend the enemy and we are too think they are still Americans?
STOP BEATING MY HEAD AGAINST THE WALL It is as clear as can be these people parasites that live in this country are the enemy within!
BTW I was over at the DU and I was going to ask them these questions but in the agreement was for the conservatives to get lost or be banned!
I don't want to read anyone here complain that FR won't allow disruptors for they don't want to inqure or clarify just to cause havoc!

*chuckle*
Asking anything at DU is akin to throwing a sacrifice into a volcano.
But those are interesting questions.
And I'm not in a position to be able to ponder them with much result to show for it.
Just glad you're here, and don't worry about what some of the flamers here at FR have to say.
Heck, if FR was anythng like DU, I'd have been banned LONG ago for not conforming to certain expectations.
Making it short, I honestly don't know what to say in response so I'm babbling.
