Is that the view from your place? It's gorgeous!
To: lodwick; ValerieUSA
Thanks folks. The view is from the balcony of the place next door. While my place is a floor higher, I am farther from the beach, the view is not as good and it lacks the palm trees that help in these pictures.

Pedestrians watch as men's underwear is modeled in a shop in downtown Berlin December 12, 2003. Passers-by in the center of Berlin were treated to the unusual sight of scantily clad 'dummies' flexing their muscles and baring their buttocks in a publicity stunt for a brand of men's underwear. The Germans that came here and help build this country in the 17 & 18 century are a far cry to what has happen to this Godless Germany of today!

This age stuff is hard to adjust to.
I used to have perfect sight.....all my life I could see things far away that no one else could.
About five years ago, I started having trouble reading. Now I can't read anything without reading glasses. I can't use power tools without my reading glasses either.
My longer vision is still pretty good, but I am not taking any bets as to how long that will last.
Pretty soon this thread will be all us old folks complaining about operations and ailments!

This age stuff is hard to adjust to.yep. After returning from our Thanksgiving trip to Idaho to spend the holiday with my mom and sisters (and attending my oldest sister's wedding :)) I ended having to go to the doc for muscle relaxers and pain killers for my back. The trip was 10 hours there and 11 hours back. I guess the old back just couldn't the hours of sitting in one position for all the time, and the muscles started to spasm. After a couple of days, my back hurt so bad I could hardly walk. Soooo, some muscle relaxers, antiinflammatories, rest, stretching exercises and I'm at least mobile again. *sigh*

Yes it's cold! A few more degrees and I'm gonna have to turn the heat on! Actually, I had it on for about 5 minutes earlier, but we're supposed to have a storm moving in tonight I hear.

Our current temperature is supposedly 45 degrees, but it feels colder than that.
