I almost feel bad for him, heh. ALMOST. It seems to me that he tried to take Zell Miller seriously... which was smart of him. He just did it way wrong, from his northeast elite perspective, showing that he didn't understand the South at all, but at least he tried to show he gave a damn about them. No other reason than political gain of course, but still, he was at least not being so arrogant as to simply -snub- the South.

Still, it's irrelevant. Either way, every one of the Dem candidates either doesn't care about the South, or doesn't understand the South. Neither one makes them a viable candidate.

I think this guy is pulling a Gary Hart deal, subconciously or conciously self-destructing his chances to be Prez because he really doesn`t want to. They showed last night on Fox I think it was, where he said the same Confederate flag stuff 2 times before, one was last February and you could tell the guy was stumbling over what he said, like he realized what he said until it was too late. It came out like he was calling white southerners rednecks and saying racism is cool. Yeah man, that should get some votes! Say some ethnic jokes next!
