[history]
Monday, November 3, 2003
A new message was posted in the last few hours by the Jeddah-based al-Qaeda-linked Al-Islah (Reform) society calling on Muslims to flee New York, Washington and Los Angeles in advance of major al Qaeda attacks in those cities. This is revealed by DEBKAfile.
The message accuses the United States of predetermining its end (doom) by its policies. ?The Jews rule the Pentagon by remote control and (are the cause) of Muslims being killed in every corner of the world. The United States should therefore expect more blows.?
The message is signed on behalf of the al Bayan (The Threat) movement by ?your warrior brother, Abul Hassan al Khadrami?.
Our Muslim expert identifies the name of the signatory as belonging to a Yemeni from Hadhrameuth, the Bin Ladens? place of origin where Osama enjoys substantial tribal support.
DEBKAfile?s counter-terror sources stress that warnings appearing on these forums are taken both very seriously and with caution by the intelligence services keeping track of the terrorist network?s electronic traffic.
Last November, Jeddah-based fundamentalist forums addressed a message to an Al Qaeda member, saying whoever understands ? understands; whoever knows, knows, but we are marching towards an operation that will take us to Paradise. Three days later, the Mombasa Paradise hotel was blown up killing 12 Kenyans and 3 Israelis and a failed shoulder-launched Strela anti-air missile missed an Israeli airliner at Mombasa airport.

me three, I've been helping my husband work the past few days and haven't had time to stay up with all the goings on. I'm lost as can be now. And everywhere I read seems like people are in a total panic now.

Ice Cube is a rap singer.First of all, it's not rap, it's crap. Second, there's NO such thing as a crap "singer."
My opinion only, of course. 8-)

Back in the early part of 2002 I believe it was -- the media was heavily reporting on some of the finds in Afghanistan caves. At least one article stated that a Newsday article was found dated in April of 2001! That is about the same time the Lackawanna six went to the Al Qaeda training camp in Afghanistan.

No, it's not opinion. It's called objective reality. Additionally, there have been articles about "Jihadi rap", and mention of jihadis in the music business in Cindy's links.
Listening to a lot of rap drives the listeners mad, crazy. It agitates the mind into anger and hate. Heck, it does that to me in less than 10 seconds. (Of course, all it makes me hate is the sound of the rap...) Imagine listening to it all day and night.
What people listen to has a strong effect on the mind. In the "olden days" in war, they'd have trumpets and drums to instill martial fervor in the warriors - bagpipes in Scotland. Listening to rap - the very sound, what to speak of the words - brings out the worst in the listeners.

Channel 12 News (NBC) reported that someone stole over 8000 gallons of gas from a gas station in Phoenix. It seemed like an interesting story to report with all the Phoenix messages on this board today.
Channel 12 news said they are not posting this story until Monday ..

Informative article, worth reading:
Terror cells regroup - and now their target is Europe
http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/1055561/posts · Britain is still playing a central logistical role for the militants, with extremists, including the alleged mastermind of last year's bombings in Morocco, and a leader of an al-Qaeda cell, regularly using the UK as a place to hide. Other radical activists are using Britain for fundraising, massive credit card fraud, the manufacture of false documents and planning. Recruitment is also continuing. In one bugged conversation, a senior militant describes London as 'the nerve centre' and says that his group has 'Albanians, Swiss [and] British' recruits. He needs people who are 'intelligent and highly educated', he says and implies that the UK can, and does, supply them.
· Islamic terror cells are spreading eastwards into Poland, Bulgaria, Romania and the Czech Republic for the first time, prompting fears of a new battleground in countries with weak authorities, powerful criminal gangs and endemic corruption in the years to come.
· Austria has become a central communications hub for Muslim extremists; France has become a key recruiting ground for fighters in Chechnya; and German groups, who often have extensive international links, are developing contacts with Balkan mafia gangs to acquire weapons.
The investigation has also revealed that, despite moves by the government there to crack down, Saudi Arabia remains the key source of funds for al-Qaeda and related militant groups.

Thanks for the info. I, too, wondered if the KKK had a racial connotation. Makes me wonder even more about EOM's affiliation. From some of the articles that I have been reading I am under the influence that the 3 Ks in their spelling of Amerikkka = Klu Klux Klan
AMERIKKKA
Try doing a google search on amerikkka klu klux klan
also do a search on amerikkka and you find that it is used by the NOI.

I didn't think of it either. Granny mentioned it. It would have never occurred to me. I've never been a member of a group before, so I really was clueless. It was only recently, while I was looking up terrorist info, that I found this group. Sometimes this group kind of goes in odd directions, but I still find the discussion interesting, and I try to keep an open mind. Before 9/11, I would have never thought anyone would intentionally fly an airplane into a building either.
