No, it's not opinion. It's called objective reality. Additionally, there have been articles about "Jihadi rap", and mention of jihadis in the music business in Cindy's links.
Listening to a lot of rap drives the listeners mad, crazy. It agitates the mind into anger and hate. Heck, it does that to me in less than 10 seconds. (Of course, all it makes me hate is the sound of the rap...) Imagine listening to it all day and night.
What people listen to has a strong effect on the mind. In the "olden days" in war, they'd have trumpets and drums to instill martial fervor in the warriors - bagpipes in Scotland. Listening to rap - the very sound, what to speak of the words - brings out the worst in the listeners.
