A new message was posted in the last few hours by the Jeddah-based al-Qaeda-linked Al-Islah (Reform) society calling on Muslims to flee New York, Washington and Los Angeles in advance of major al Qaeda attacks in those cities. This is revealed by DEBKAfile.

The message accuses the United States of predetermining its end (doom) by its policies. ?The Jews rule the Pentagon by remote control and (are the cause) of Muslims being killed in every corner of the world. The United States should therefore expect more blows.?

The message is signed on behalf of the al Bayan (The Threat) movement by ?your warrior brother, Abul Hassan al Khadrami?.

Our Muslim expert identifies the name of the signatory as belonging to a Yemeni from Hadhrameuth, the Bin Ladens? place of origin where Osama enjoys substantial tribal support.

DEBKAfile?s counter-terror sources stress that warnings appearing on these forums are taken both very seriously and with caution by the intelligence services keeping track of the terrorist network?s electronic traffic.

Last November, Jeddah-based fundamentalist forums addressed a message to an Al Qaeda member, saying whoever understands ? understands; whoever knows, knows, but we are marching towards an operation that will take us to Paradise. Three days later, the Mombasa Paradise hotel was blown up killing 12 Kenyans and 3 Israelis and a failed shoulder-launched Strela anti-air missile missed an Israeli airliner at Mombasa airport.

Plane Diverts to Dulles Because of Security Threat

CHANTILLY, Va. — The FBI took one passenger into custody Saturday after an American Airlines commuter flight was diverted to Washington's Dulles International Airport (search) because of a security threat.

One official told Fox News flight crew received a note mid-flight from a passenger that said he had a bomb on board.

Flight 4959, operated by American Eagle (search) and carrying 19 passengers and a crew of five, left New York's LaGuardia Airport at 10:57 a.m. bound for Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport (search). It landed at about noon at Dulles, which is 33 miles away.

The FBI detained one passenger after questioning the 23 others on the flight, said Tara Hamilton, spokeswoman for the Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority (search).

She referred questions about the threat to the FBI. Calls to the FBI were not immediately returned Saturday.

An American Airlines spokeswoman, Lisa Bailey, said that upon approach to National Airport, a threat was made against the plane and the crew decided to divert to the other Washington area airport.

Airport police and security dogs were checking all luggage from the fight and conducting a sweep of the plane, Hamilton.

'DIRTY BOMBER' HUNT

WASHINGTON - U.S. intelligence agencies have launched a worldwide manhunt for al Qaeda's master bombmaker, who may be building a "dirty" bomb and other new devices for terror attacks inside the United States, sources said.

U.S. counterterrorism officials told The Post it was new information about the activities of Egyptian-born bomb maker Midhat Mursi, in part, that led the Bush administration to secretly dispatch Department of Energy radiological detection teams to New York and four other cities over New Year's Eve.

Before the Bush administration decided to raise the nationwide alert level to Code Orange, an al Qaeda informant had said that Mursi, who goes by the nom de guerre Abu Khabab, was active again, intelligence officials told The Post.

Intelligence officials said Mursi is a chemical engineer who was head of al Qaeda's weapons-of-mass-destruction committee and reported directly to al Qaeda's No. 2 man, Ayman al-Zawahiri.

He is believed to have gone underground before or during the 2001 Afghanistan war and is considered the most wanted al Qaeda figure after Osama bin Laden and Ayman al-Zawahiri.



Before the Afghan war, Mursi operated crude laboratories at an al Qaeda complex near Jalalabad, where satellite imagery showed scores of dead animals outside, victims of ghoulish experiments with anthrax and other biological and chemical poisons, U.S. officials said.

Sources said documents found at the camp and at al Qaeda safe houses in Afghanistan and Pakistan also included what one intelligence official called "very innovative designs for explosive devices" - some designed to be carried aboard airplanes without being detected.

Some documents indicated Mursi was exchanging information with Palestinian and Hezbollah bomb makers - including some who helped design the shoe bomb carried aboard a Paris-to-Boston flight by Richard Reid in 2001, sources said.

ARTICLE SNIPPET: "JANUARY 09, 2004 ( COMPUTERWORLD ) - A report earlier this week about a critical flaw in the Linux kernel was the latest in a series of recently discovered security problems with the popular open-source operating system. But many users were unfazed by the report and said Linux remains a solid and secure environment for running enterprise applications.



Poland-based iSec Security Research on Monday said it had found a critical flaw in a function used to manage virtual memory on Linux systems (see story). The flaw affects the 2.2, 2.4 and 2.6 versions of the Linux kernel, according to iSec.



The vulnerability could allow attackers to take administrative control of compromised systems and run attack code of their choice, an iSec advisory stated. ISec claimed that it had developed and successfully tested code that was capable of exploiting the flaw, although it added that actually launching such an attack wouldn't be easy.



The news follows the discovery of a similar flaw in the Linux 2.4 kernel last fall. In November, unknown attackers used that flaw to take down several servers belonging to the Debian Project, which produces a noncommercial Linux distribution. And last month, an attack on the Gentoo Linux Project compromised a server that was being used to download copies of Gentoo's Linux source code by users.



The rise in such incidents can be attributed to Linux's growing popularity, which makes it a more attractive target for malicious attackers, said David Wreski, CEO of Linux security vendor Guardian Digital Inc. in Allendale, N.J."

I found the following back in September 2001 (source will be posted in my next post):

After purchasing this land, they then proceeded to fill in that small lake, surreptitiously bringing in two ocean-going barges during the night, sinking them, and covering them up. Mohammad Astarki, (I knew him only as Gary Tour), an agent of the Iranian Ministry of Intelligence and Security (MOIS) hinted that they had received a grant from the State of Oregon Department of Environmental Quality to pay for the costs. Their next step was to begin the long-term task of turning these barges into submarine bays, complete with two levels of living quarters, enough room to house a small village.

" They had purchased an ocean-going tug company, with three large tugboats, and included with their purchase were contracts for dredging the Willamette and Columbia rivers, and hauling in limestone and other products from Canada. When all of their interrelated tasks and their usual plethora of backup plans were in place an Iranian Submarine carrying a number of nuclear bombs began its long journey to the US. They entered US territory at the Columbia River, and navigated upriver to the mouth of the Willamette River in Portland, Oregon. It was then only another 20 miles upriver on the Willamette to their huge submarine bay, complete with two upper-story housing levels large enough to hold a small village. I have knowledge of the arrival of this submarine due to the fact that my family and I lived in a mobile home which sat above the submarine bay, and we were there when the submarine arrived. Those readers who have faced an extreme life-threatening situation before will have an idea of what this was like. "

Indonesia is crawling with muslims, there they cut off your head if you don't meet their needs.

Don's wife is Chinese and was born there, they more than anyone I have written to, have opened my eyes.

The average terrorist in Indonesia does not like the Chinese and want them all dead.

Indonesia is what is happening to us, they came in as poor refugees and soon were the rulers.

This is why Australia wouldn't allow the boat loads of muslims to land a couple years ago, but we do........

The groups at Yahoo will have to be watched on a daily basis, as if there is still an active list owner, they often remove the muslim posts.

That is what the Doll group owner did, she removed the posts from the files and made the group to be read by members only.

I am on a soapmaking and a recipe list that do not appear to have an owner, no one even knows who owns them, they are so old.
