[history]
Monday, November 3, 2003
A new message was posted in the last few hours by the Jeddah-based al-Qaeda-linked Al-Islah (Reform) society calling on Muslims to flee New York, Washington and Los Angeles in advance of major al Qaeda attacks in those cities. This is revealed by DEBKAfile.
The message accuses the United States of predetermining its end (doom) by its policies. ?The Jews rule the Pentagon by remote control and (are the cause) of Muslims being killed in every corner of the world. The United States should therefore expect more blows.?
The message is signed on behalf of the al Bayan (The Threat) movement by ?your warrior brother, Abul Hassan al Khadrami?.
Our Muslim expert identifies the name of the signatory as belonging to a Yemeni from Hadhrameuth, the Bin Ladens? place of origin where Osama enjoys substantial tribal support.
DEBKAfile?s counter-terror sources stress that warnings appearing on these forums are taken both very seriously and with caution by the intelligence services keeping track of the terrorist network?s electronic traffic.
Last November, Jeddah-based fundamentalist forums addressed a message to an Al Qaeda member, saying whoever understands ? understands; whoever knows, knows, but we are marching towards an operation that will take us to Paradise. Three days later, the Mombasa Paradise hotel was blown up killing 12 Kenyans and 3 Israelis and a failed shoulder-launched Strela anti-air missile missed an Israeli airliner at Mombasa airport.

So, does that mean we are busted by EOM, Daleel, et al, too? Daleel knew about FR already. He actually posted this very thread the same morning tubavil did but it was pulled almost immediately. I'm glad this one wasn't.
As for EOM, I have no clue. He (or they) has apparently been around on other forums for quite a while.
I still believe Daleel and possibly EOM are groups of people, not just one person.

That is what I'm thinking. I guess that would also dismiss the use of any type of grill from the basement too.

How to get clean circulating air has been my question also. All that I know is that you are supposed to have ten square feet of floor space per person to have enough air to prevent carbon dioxide build-up for about five hours. After the five hours, I don't know how to get clean air. Hopefully someone can answer this.
To: Calpernia
Ok, plastic and duct tape is a great idea. But what do you do for clean oxygen? Say you make your basement a safe room and plastic up the windows. What do you do for clean circulating air? How long is a family good for in the basement like this?
Wonder what the Israelis do? I know there was a duct tape/plastic suffocation incident...guess carbon monoxide or something built up...anyone have a background in air filtering systems?

Dear Let it ring,
We are all glad to be here, it is nice to be with folks who speak the same language as you. Most consider me a nut to keep preaching "get prepared".
The good vibes that you get here are only a return what you send to us.
God knew that I needed help, so he sent a family to live in a travel trailer on the land across the street, not what I wanted and not a good choice for neighbors, or so I thought, dad in prison, grandmother raising a 13 year old girl.
Never look a gift horse in the mouth, Kristin the young lady, is a delight and comes to get in my fire wood (my only heat and cooking). She keeps the sand box going for the kitties and other nice things. She needs spending money and also has a good heart. I have no one left here, and I am not leaving.
Yesterday, I explained to her how to identify a freeper, if martial law comes to us. No, I doubt that we will be moved, as we are country/desert.
I explained that it would give her a good family to help her and that she would be loved, just to tell you that I was her aunt.
She does read a bit of the Freeper posts if I think she should.
We must learn to pray, and as Mama May was prone to say after asking if I had prayed, "But, did you shut up and listen?"
Imagine, if it is true and we are all nuts, then we won't be attacked AGAIN by terrorists. We are safe. Try not to think of the reverse.
But then I never understood why Americans thought that we could go to other countries and invade them, but that it could NEVER come to pass that America could be invaded.
My family has served in all branches of the military, and maybe I think like a man, but war is war and it will be fought and no matter what country, your turn will come.
Kinda like the old gunfighters, there was always the "new kid" who thought he could out draw you.
Here is a hug and a prayer for you.XXXXXXXXX

Daleel and EOM in the same group or at least in overlapping groups?

Thanks for the reminder.
It looks like Kristin has received a blessing, too...

I pray that I will be a help to her, but find that her grandmother and I don't agree on lots of things. she said that if Kristin resisted, it would get her killed.
Kristin has not been taught self-defense and she is lovely to look at, so young and innocent.
I managed to stand up long enough to show her what a ladies knee could do and a few basics... fear that if it gets known, I may get shot.

Daleel and EOM in the same group or at least in overlapping groups? Not in the same group. Not necessarily overlapping groups.
My feeling is that these folks put out a lot of disinformation to make it hard to tell when real messages are sent out.
Also, some are simply people who hate America and get together online to chat and spout their feelings.
Put all these sites together and it's easy to understand why the authorities have such a hard time distinguishing the "real" from the "hooey", which makes it hard to issue warnings.
That's my take on it, any-hoo, based on the things I've seen here.

Ah, now that's interesting, liz. Hadn't heard that.
And welcome back! Hope all is well.
To: jstolzen
What is the deal with this site anyway. Is it anti bush or just a mix. The thread about Russia and China taking us over made me crap! Very Scary indeed!
To: TexKat
I'm 39 and grew up with the threat of Russia. So really we did have fear of another country. Hopefully by the time our children grow up we will have nipped this in the bud. Corny it sounds but I hope!

In the name of Allah, the all-merciful and compassionate, the countdown for the biggest event, the defeat and collapse of America, the Hubal of this generation. According to the predictions Al-Sayf Al-'Aasim, 36 days, 13 hours, and 23 seconds at most remain until the prediction is fulfilled. God willing, the collapse of America is nigh." Is this the message we are discussing here?

It's not anti Bush, exactly. If it were, I couldn't be here. There are some very differing opinions around, for sure.
To: tapatio
I haven't seen that one before. What is the date on it?
