Al Qaeda again threatens New York, Washington and Los Angeles - Daily Terror Threat

A new message was posted in the last few hours by the Jeddah-based al-Qaeda-linked Al-Islah (Reform) society calling on Muslims to flee New York, Washington and Los Angeles in advance of major al Qaeda attacks in those cities. This is revealed by DEBKAfile.

The message accuses the United States of predetermining its end (doom) by its policies. ?The Jews rule the Pentagon by remote control and (are the cause) of Muslims being killed in every corner of the world. The United States should therefore expect more blows.?

The message is signed on behalf of the al Bayan (The Threat) movement by ?your warrior brother, Abul Hassan al Khadrami?.

Our Muslim expert identifies the name of the signatory as belonging to a Yemeni from Hadhrameuth, the Bin Ladens? place of origin where Osama enjoys substantial tribal support.

DEBKAfile?s counter-terror sources stress that warnings appearing on these forums are taken both very seriously and with caution by the intelligence services keeping track of the terrorist network?s electronic traffic.

Last November, Jeddah-based fundamentalist forums addressed a message to an Al Qaeda member, saying whoever understands ? understands; whoever knows, knows, but we are marching towards an operation that will take us to Paradise. Three days later, the Mombasa Paradise hotel was blown up killing 12 Kenyans and 3 Israelis and a failed shoulder-launched Strela anti-air missile missed an Israeli airliner at Mombasa airport.

I did read somewhere that the Saudis are selling Dollars and buying Euros and gold. We can draw any conclusion from that, but I know what I'm leaning toward.

Another report just on re: United flight 7129 Chicago to Omaha earlier today. A flight attendant found what looked like putty with wires in it in the lavatory. The next flight 7111 was canceled.

It was a flight scheduled to Portland, OR. The cancellation was weather related. PDX (Portland airport) was completely closed until this morning. Just a limited number of flights now.

That video clip it was based upon must have been deemed by the feds too hot, too inflamatory for public consumption in this country...maybe the media was ordered(an offer they couldn't refuse?) not to touch it.

WELL..I thought that we were supposed to have separation between the Press and the Gov't.

If the USG can squash a story like "NYC will be nuked on 2/2", I'd be pretty concerned about the power and reach of our government. (USSR, anyone?)

That said, I cannot for the LIFE of me figure out why there has been ZERO US media coverage of this. Seems like "kinda" an important story. And we get: Zip. Notta. Squat.

I also subscribe to the theory that pre-9/11 the markets were artificially inflated with foreign money that knew, in advance, about 9/11. They bought and bought and bought to run up the market, then started selling while everyone else was buying to support their sells (and/or buying Puts or short-selling).

And now that we've seen the market climb significantly this year -- for no REAL "GOOD NEWS" REASON -- I suspect there is, again, a ton of foreign money going in prior to another significant terror attack on US soil. Which is why the short-selling and/or Put volume and/or other similar indicators would be significant precursors to a major attack here at home.

Its pretty easy to slip into Y2K fuzziness; on the other hand (you knew OTOH was coming, right?!), maybe some things were avoided by people going with some free associations here and there. Why not? Indians bent twigs and used rocks to mark trails.

When I was still prospecting, I used strips of old sheets and have often found trails marked with surveyors colored tapes.

At least with the sheets, I knew it was my mark.

I know plenty of folks who keep dual citizenship because it is safer to fly. Picture a hijack situation where the foreign highjackers collect 100 or so passports to see who might have some leverage in their bargaining at the next landing and who might be executed...turning in an Irish or Austrian passport might save an American neck.

There has been over 30 years of ongoing air traffic terrorism though the initial decade or so of highjackings didn't hit home here to John Q.Public (though it sure hit home to those involved.)
