WASHINGTON, D.C. — Boy, has King Trump got egg on his face this time. Seeing all of the people going to vote, he realized he forgot to cancel the election. What an idiot!
"Kings aren't supposed to have elections. Doesn't he know that? What a dummy," said one peasant. "Well, time to vote against his interests, because he's so dumb."
Sources in the Royal White House confirmed the king is beside himself with grief, unsure why he let such an obvious challenge to his power proceed.
"Why am I so stupid? Don't answer that!" said King Trump. "Believe me, this is not what I wanted. As king, I want to rule with an iron fist. No, my fist isn't really made of iron. I wish it was. Iron Man, they could call me. No, Iron King! Because I'm a king. No, really, I am. I just forgot to cancel the election. Idiot!"
Advisors to the king have reportedly recommended silencing all dissent and closing all the polls immediately, but King Trump would not hear of it. "No, I'm kind of curious how this is going to play out," the idiot king said. "Let the people choose for themselves whom they will serve."
At publishing time, King Trump went to bed sobbing, knowing deep in his heart he would go down in history as the worst king America had ever had because he allowed the people to vote.

I won’t vote for him in 2028
Enough!
Heads will roll!!!
Trump doesn’t have the authority. Congress does:
Article I, Section 4, Clause 1:
The Times, Places and Manner of holding Elections for Senators and Representatives, shall be prescribed in each State by the Legislature thereof; but the Congress may at any time by Law make or alter such Regulations, except as to the Places of chusing Senators.
