Trump Admin Delivering Historic Immigration Victories
Border Hawk News ^ | October 20, 2026 | Allan Wall

President Donald Trump is approaching the midpoint of his second term, so it’s a good time to evaluate what he has accomplished on immigration issues. On the National Question (immigration and national identity), Trump’s achievements over the past two years are quite impressive.

Trump solved the border crisis so decisively, the public has practically forgotten it was ever a problem. The border is under control, few cross it illegally, and catch-and-release has been terminated.

In August, the Trump administration announced that 3 million illegal aliens had left the country since Jan. 2025: 985,000 were removed and 2.2 million self-deported. That was two months ago. More needs to be done but Trump has already accomplished more than anyone before him.

With all the hysteria over ICE arrests of illegal aliens, something else has been unfolding under the radar: legal immigration has been drastically reduced.

All in all, legal immigration has been cut approximately in half.

The record is clear. President Donald Trump has done more than any president in a century to reduce immigration and protect the historic American nation. Thank you President Trump!

I remember driving along the Mexican border on a family trip in the 1970s. No gangs. No illegals. I read somewhere that Ike in the 1950s loaded all the illegals here at the time onto buses and dropped them off in the middle of Mexico and told them never to come back. Worked well for decades. No one complained. Thank you Trump.

His policies tend to force the Demwits to come out in public ranting and raving in favor of ridiculous positions. Even the ballroom, which had a bunch of TDSers around here up in arms, made his critics look like complete *******s.

When judging Donald Trump’s Presidency you need to understand what he’s up against, the entrenched bureaucracy made up of radical leftists and so-called Republicans who have opposed him every step of the way.

In terms of immigration, he’s fighting the leftist judiciary who constantly issue injunctions on everything even if they know will be reversed it will slow down the changes Trump is making.

Remember back when ICE had teams going from city to city rounding up people and deporting them, that turns out to be a bad strategy, it allowed the radicals to gather in one location and create ugly situations and it ended up getting a couple of people killed, politically the American public wants the deportations but doesn’t want the ugliness that comes along with the deportations.

The current approach of constant pressure everywhere and not being so public about it is working, around 50,000 a month are getting deported, not enough but acceptable IMO, that’s around 600,000/year or 2.4 million in Trump’s 2nd term, 2.4 million needs to be 15-20 million at least.

The biggest key to all this is electing a Republican in 2028 that will carry on what Trump has started, there is no way in 4 years that Trump was ever going to get 15-20 million people deported, but if we can get 8 more years of what Trump started then the country will be a much better place.

These people really have Trump Derangement Syndrome. The ballroom for example, what if a Democrat had proposed that? It’d be an entirely different situation.

I have often said things like “If Elizabeth Warren is for it, I am against it-and vice versa!”

But that is because I know full well in my intellect. and completely in my heart, that there is nothing-absolutely NOTHING she can offer in any way shape or form, something that is conducive to the health of this Republic.

When Leftists take that same approach against Trump, when he not only is intellectually and morally on the correct side of an issue, but the electorate is as well, the Leftist force themselves into these indefensible and absurd positions that look completely unhinged to normal people.

Honestly, I take no joy in this. We need two parties with differing views that have room for actual comparison and debate, but there is only one party that offers anything to the long term survival of this nation. That simply isn’t healthy.

People are allowed to enter the country legally.

Illegal and legal immigration are two different things.
