Kennedy: ‘When the Berlin Wall Fell, Who Ran to Which Side? Socialism Is for Morons’

Friday on FNC’s “Hannity,” Sen. John Kennedy (R-LA) rebuked the creep of socialism into American politics.

He highlighted its failures and warned against it coming to the United States.

“[Y]ou had interesting comments about socialism recently,” host Sean Hannity said. “If you had to break it down and explain it because that’s what’s on the ballot this year, what do you tell people?”

Kemmedy replied, “Well, Sean, I listen to these new leaders of the Democratic Party. Mayor Mamdani, Congresswoman Ocasio-Cortez, Dr. El-Sayed in Michigan, and when I listen to them, they’re all socialists. When I listen to them, it’s why I believe in free speech because how else would we know who the idiots are? You can’t make this stuff up, and as long as they’re in charge, you don’t have to. It — no disrespect, but it must suck to be that dumb. I’m going to say it again. Republicans aren’t perfect, but the other side’s — the other side’s crazy. And they’re in control, the congresswoman, the mayors, I could go on with all the other ones, Senator Sanders, they’re in control of the Democratic Party, and they’re all college-educated. But here’s their agenda, they believe in — they believe in kale, cold plunges, and tofu piccata.”

I noticed on the copyright page of Motor City Boomer (about cars) that Wayne State University Press states the names of the tribes and the names for the land where the Detroit based publisher prints books. Now known as "Detroit." Amazing.

In the sixties a common news story would be about East Germans trying to run the barb wire and later ‘the wall’ - most of ‘em were shot.

Some left to rot as an example to others who thought they could escape communism. Killing people trying to escape commie hellholes IS the norm for that stupid choice.

If anyone wants to live in a commie hellhole we should give them a free one way ticket to any commie country in the world (in exchange for them giving up their citizenship here...) and wish them well.

What is frustrating to me is too many so called “conservatives” keep talking about this DSA thing like it just popped up over night.

Socialism has been creeping mostly in the Democrat Party since atleast the 1930’s; in fact, a lot of elected Republicans warned back in the day that FDR’s programs including social security were “creeping socialism”. Today, there is hardly a Republican including Rand Paul himself that would call social security socialism atleast not publicly like they did 80 years ago.

Everyone who calls them communists is correct - I believe Hannity does. I’m surprised that Senator Kennedy didn’t.. He needs to change that! Call them what they are and maybe, just maybe - they’ll get the hint and think “Oh! Is that what this is?” They’re out of the mainstream for sure and that’s what they want - the attention!! I will not stay on any cable news show when they are the topic..Pretend they don’t exist and maybe they’ll change their tune!!! I know - I know - not likely!!

Young people today do not know about the Soviet Union, Mao, Castro, Stalin and over 120 MILLION murders by these thugs and others. Pot is another. How many South Vietnamese were murdered by the NVA and North Vietnam when they took over after the USA was embarrassed by our retreat from Saigon? They think getting something for free means they get free stuff. Communism doesn’t operate that way. Be VERY CAREFUL what you ask for. You just might get it.
