I never would have predicted that Boy George would one day be a voice of common sense and courage, but that is where we find ourselves in 2026. Boy George has been canceled in retaliation for his saying, in general terms, that he supports the Jewish people. Today he tweeted this. Full text below:
"In the last few months, my life has changed beyond all compare. I made a decision to support my Jewish friends and without hesitation. I feel anxious almost everywhere I go but I do not regret my decision. I have seen friends that I have helped and supported turn on me without a conversation. It hurts because I know that not only do they know Jewish people but they have benefited hugely from the association with Jews. British Jews have always made London better from Philip Sallon’s crazy nightclubs to the brick lane Bagel shop.
More importantly and most shocking is that many of these anti Isreal people have zero political instincts. They only care because it has become fashionable to care. I would go as far to say that they are the biggest and most hideous cowardly fakes to walk this earth. Why are people who support their Jewish friends being called to account while these fakes, like Ed Sheeran, Jade and countless others get to pretend to care about a situation they could not comprehend even if they really tried. I support anyone calling for peace. That is what we should all be doing. How can Isreal be an apartheid state when Arabs and Christians live there peacefully and are part of the political system? As for Ed Miliband, clearly we know why he never because Prime Minister and Andy Burnham won’t be getting my vote. In life there are people who see what’s going on and others who just blindly follow the trends. Remember. Fashions change.

This was in support of transitioning children.
He also pushed back hard against the idea that parents are pushing kids to be trans, calling it “so ridiculous” and saying: “Usually with trans kids, it’s the kid that informs the adult through different behaviour.”
Never thought I’d have something important in common with him but, here we are.
Even though Boy George is flamboyantly gay, he is surprisingly working class in a number of his values and morals. He comes from a working-class background and has not “forgotten his roots.” I’ve seen interviews with him where he sounds like any other blue-collar worker, which these days means “conservative.”
George to his former allies: “Do you really want to hurt me? Do you really want to make me cry?”

Lack of forgiveness is the left's nasty thing. He is not a perfect person, but neither are any of us. In this case, he has spoken well on a complex topic. Cut some slack.
Oct7 has revealed the antisemites in my extended family. I happily avoid all contact with those monsters. They think it’s fine that pregnant women were disembowled. They can all KMA.
