It didn’t happen all at once, but the timelines and the new document dumps paint a disturbing picture of what we knew would appear on the canvas long before Trump’s second presidency and the disclosures that exposed the whole deep state circus. We have former presidents, including Obama, ordering intelligence assessments to thread in Russian collusion nonsense; a former CIA director who lied about how the Steele Dossier, the document responsible for this hoax, was used in analyzing the intelligence; and the media’s incessant and destructive crusade to make this ruse legitimate. They failed because there was no evidence, and every bombshell was debunked within hours.

Given the latest trove of documents about the FBI’s investigation into former Rep. Eric Swalwell (D-CA) and his Chinese tryst with Fang Fang, who everyone knew was an intelligence agent, the pattern emerges: the FBI truly was running a secret government of sorts. They eschewed investigations into foreign influence involving Democrats, the Biden family, and the Clintons, and redirected all efforts to legitimize shoddy evidence and outright lies about Trump.

Again, you knew this, but now you have mountains of paperwork and damning emails from top FBI officials who admitted to “basically running a shadow government across the FBI.” That official reported to then-FBI Director Chris Wray daily. Even worse, under Operation Round River, the FBI targeted those who brought forward evidence regarding allegations of foreign influence and corruption on the Hunter Biden laptop (via Public):

The two are obviously very different in degree - but not in kind.

It is the nation’s top law-enforcement and domestic intel agency. That gives it the ultimate power of spying/monitoring, as well as lawfare, and choosing what laws are applied to whom.

And the more its bureaucratic power grows, the more it will be involved in protecting its own power, and necessarily, the more it meddles in politics - to the point where it directly approves, or even chooses, the nation’s leaders.

And if a President doesn’t have an ally in control of the DOJ, that President is at best, a lame duck, or at worst, dead.

There have been communist networks inside the Federal government since the New Deal. The efforts of Senator McCarthy, J. Edgar Hoover (who may have been blackmailed due to his sexual preference), and James Angleton curbed some of the infiltration. However, these men are long gone. As today, the subversives stayed below the radar, at least the smarter ones. Even under Republican Presidents like Reagan and the Bushes, these infiltrators remained in positions of power and promoted fellow communists. You had two Presidents (Clinton and Obama) who had ties in their college days with foreign and domestic communists and in Obama's case Muslim Brotherhood members. Biden lacked these contacts, but you must remember that Armand Hammer, the late 20th Century equivalent of the Soros family, helped him start his political career.

The only real solution would be to reconstitute the FBI, CIA, ATF, and the Justice Department by compelling the retirement of all long standing employees, even if they are loyal Americans. You cannot reform them any more than you could have reformed the KGB.

Sniffing around the deep state I came across a most interesting and complex involvement.

By the time the Ford Foundation finally decided to commit itself substantially to the CCF, fate struck and exposed its link with its secret patron. A sense of obligation, if not guilt, on the part of Ford Foundation administrators, often combined with a sincere conviction of its continued utility in the concerted endeavor of tearing down the Iron Curtain, ensured the existence of the CCF—renamed into the International Association for Cultural Freedom (IACF)—for another decade...

On April 3, 1951, Ford Foundation President Paul Hoffman and his associates— then three months into their assignment to expand Henry Ford’s philanthropic foundation into a force for global and lasting peace 1— travelled down to Washington, DC. Their intent was to ask Secretary of State Dean Acheson whether a collaborative arrangement could be set up whereby the Ford Foundation (FF) and the State Department would exchange information about programs of mutual interest. Acheson more than welcomed the proposal and assured that his department would “promptly put its liaison machinery into high gear.”2

Later that day, the philanthropoids met with CIA Director Walter Bedell Smith and Allen Dulles, soon to be promoted as Smith’s deputy director of plans. After instructing their collocutors “never to refer to [this meeting] as long as we lived,”3 Smith and Dulles warmly reciprocated the request for cooperation.

It's more complicated than that, of course, but what is captured there, that interesting and complex involvement, encompassed the 20th century completely and the complexity was squared; but the essence of Deep State is in those few paragraphs and that essence is greater than most Americans picture within their neatly boxed political views. Liberal progressives being especially lacking in deductive imagination skills.
