The Democratic Socialists of America website called deceased Cuban dictator Fidel Castro a “stalwart symbol of anti-imperialist struggle and self-determination,” while denouncing Secretary of State Marco Rubio as genocidal.
In a tribute to Castro on what would have been his 100th birthday Thursday, the DSA website commemorated the “historic significance of both this day and the man.”
The fast-growing socialist organization that’s made strong inroads in Democratic Party primary elections over the past year, said that they have “a long history of solidarity with the Cuban people, their revolution, and their self-determination.”
The DSA statement said that it used the Castro commemoration to “recommit ourselves to acting in solidarity with the Cuban people,” and to “opposing Marco Rubio’s genocidal war against the Cuban people and US imperialism writ large.”
They blasted the Trump administration but directed particularly strong criticism toward Rubio.
“The Trump Administration, under the leadership of Marco Rubio, is waging an indiscriminate war against the Cuban people and killing women, children, and babies by illegally blockading critical resources from the Caribbean nation. By intentionally imposing conditions calculated to kill a civilian population, Marco Rubio is leading a genocide,” the DSA statement read.
DSA then listed a series of demands.
- an end to the genocidal blockade - an end to all threats of military violence against Cuba - an end to all imperialist aggression against Cuba - the normalization of relations between the United States and Cuba - reparations payments to be made to Cuba for the trillions of dollars in damages the blockade has cost the Cuban people - the prosecution of Marco Rubio for crimes against humanity

The hypocrites would.
I hope the Government is investigating the hell out of the foreign involvement of this subversive activity.
The communists never seem to realize that they confess to being parasites.
The free market systems actually PRODUCE stuff. We have food. We have energy. We have consumer goods. We make stuff because the free market rewards that behavior.
Cuba doesn’t have that stuff, because they just REDISTRIBUTE stuff. But they need us to produce it. If we decide not to trade with Cuba, then Cuba is in a whole lot of trouble. They can’t redistribute stuff unless we provide the stuff. They are parasites.
Cuba can end their problems with America anytime they want.
The DSA (Democratic/Communists) ARE the government at large. Remember, comrades, the issue is the Revolution.
And now a word from one of Fidel Castro’s top lieutenants:
“To execute a man we don’t need proof of his guilt. We only need proof that it’s necessary to execute him. It’s that simple.”
- Che Guevara
It’s the socialist way, dontcha know?
DSA Praises Fidel Castro in 100th Birthday Tribute, after all look what he did to Cuba.
DSA on the march
“”I hope the Government is investigating the hell out of the foreign involvement of this subversive activity.””
Just WHO is their leader? Can’t all be Soros $$$$...
Let them live in Cuba for 30 days and then see what they say.
If it works (haha!) you got a perfect nation...
National Chairman DSA - Megan Romer...can’t find ANYTHING on where she was born and raised - birth date etc. Rural upstate NY covers a lot of territory...she apparently left there - for what? No college mentioned...You can skip looking for a picture of her - it would only ruin your day...she looks like she could skip a few meals - is the only NICE way I can put it. Additionally, the Presbyterian church could do us all a favor and question her loyalty to the country she lives in.
Romer grew up in rural upstate New York in a trailer park, the daughter of a paramedic and a nursing aide.[6][7] She moved to Lafayette, Louisiana, where she worked as a travel writer.[8] She was initially active with a group of female Democrats, but claims she was asked to leave because she was considered “too disruptive”.[9] She joined the DSA, eventually moving back to New York.[7][10] She is an ordained ruling elder in the Presbyterian Church (USA).[11]
When he died, Fidel Castro had $800 million dollars in his personal bank account.
First thing Castro did was take guns away from citizens and the rest is history. Ironically most people supported him, Cubans and Foreign admirers. Castro suckered everybody. Americans must remember what Stalin, Mao, Castro to name a few did to take control, Lock and Load, don’t give up your Second Amendment Right.
DSA says it, the media reports it as fact, liberal white women cheer.
I remember when that vile Obama creature had a wet fidel dream and traveled to Cuba and Castro couldn’t be bothered to even meet with him.
Castro already knew what a manufactured CIA invention looks like.
The DSA Caribbeaners are on a roll. They are coming for America.
Here’s a little help….
Today is the centenary of Charles Manson, and the Democratic Socialists of America recognize the historic significance of both this day and the man.
Charles was an organizer, a fighter, and endures as a stalwart symbol of anti-imperialist struggle and self- determination for the Global South.
DSA has a long history of solidarity with the Family, their revolution, and their self-determination.
We choose this historic day to recommit ourselves to acting in solidarity with the Family and to starkly opposing anyone’s genocidal war against the Family and US imperialism writ large.
One wonders how much the Cubans paid the DSA for a PSA.
