If that does not seem terribly logical, you forget that, for most of the ruling elite, it is too late to "save" old France or old Germany, even if they wanted to; therefore, the best that can be done is to use the daily human sacrifices to accelerate the transition to whatever's next. Once you discern that that's all the plan there is, the statements of Merz and Macron calling on us to resist those who would "divide" us make perfect sense. It's not the guy stabbing a Parisian demoiselle who's being "divisive"; it's you for wanting to make a big deal out of it.
For a glimpse of how deep the psychosis goes, here is the BBC reporting on the opening of a new mosque in comparatively immigrant-free Japan:

You don't say. Yet the Beeb's Tokyo correspondent did say, and with a straight face - even as they're still hosing the blood off the sidewalks of two European capitals. Because actual victims of Muslims must never be allowed to distract us from the hypothetical victimhood of some blameless Mohammedan.
That narrative is set in stone in the western media: the footsoldiers abetting our demographic dispossession will never change their minds. To save your society, it will be necessary to press on without them.
