The slow-motion car crash that is scandal-ridden Maine Democrat Graham Platner and his campaign to unseat Republican Sen. Susan Collins took another strange turn Tuesday, this time thanks to the stellar work of our sister site, Townhall.
Kyle Olson over at Townhall has obtained undercover video footage of a staffer for Dan Osborn, a Nebraska "independent" running to unseat incumbent Republican Sen. Pete Ricketts in this year's midterm elections, boasting about Osborn being the one to have recruited Platner. The staffer, "Colleen," tells another woman that the stench of Graham Platner can be directly traced to Dan Osborn.
🚨Undercover video obtained exclusively by Townhall Media reveals that “independent” candidate Dan Osborn hoping to unseat incumbent Republican U.S. Sen. Pete Ricketts in Nebraska "recruited Graham Platner" to run for Senate in Maine.

Here's a bit of that exchange:
“So he has also recruited other candidates around the country to run that are doing similar things,” the video shows Colleen saying, referring to “a few independents” and “a few Democrats.”
“This is not really out there publicly, but he recruited Graham Platner,” Colleen said in the video obtained by Townhall Media. It is not known when the video was created.
When asked if Osborn and Platner “know each other,” Colleen responded, “Yeah.”
“Dan, after the last election, he started a program to recruit working class candidates to run,” Colleen said, directing the individual to the website for Working Class Heroes Fund.
“Dan is an independent who ran for US Senate against an incumbent Republican Senator,” the website says on the “About Us” page, identifying him as the leader.
And here's the video itself:
VIDEO AT LINK...........
RedState readers might remember Dan Osborn from his unsuccessful 2024 campaign, again as an "independent," to unseat Nebraska's other incumbent, Republican Sen. Deb Fischer. As we reported back then, Osborn was receiving gobs of money from Democrat donors, despite proclaiming himself an independent, blue-collar kind of guy.
If what "Colleen" from the video says is true, it makes the Democrat Party's quest to find "working class guys" to represent them all that more hilarious. It's the blind leading the blind, and proof positive that the left wouldn't know a true man's man if he hit them over the head with an anvil. They're doing their own version of the Steve Buscemi meme – "how do you do, fellow manly men?" And the best part is they don't know how foolish they look to the rest of us.
It's uncertain at whose feet history will ultimately place the ashes of Platner's candidacy – and, hey, he may decide being an accused sexual predator and all-around heathen is just what Democrats need right now and stay in the race – but many Mainers and, indeed, Americans, have a vested interested in knowing why Dems decided this deviant was worth all the effort.
You can't help but wonder what will be uncovered next.

Alright. On a count of three, everyone show their tattoos.
Amazing that Collins isn’t anti-Trump enough for Maineiacs.
Some 95% of all the personal woe in this world is self-induced.
Most of the other 5% probably comes from being persuaded by a person with malice aforethought giving the individual bad advice, as part of some sly prank.
Perhaps Graham Platner could wander into a swamp in some deep jungle, and mercifully, be captured by cannibals and eaten.

That would be the null set from mathematics.
This Plantner stuff has made daily kos very entertaining reading lately.
I haven’t had this much fun over there, since Biden’s debate meltdown & Harris’s ass kicking in the 2024 general election.
Consultants are choosing these candidates. The consultants get 10-20 % of the fundraising their candidate receives.
They do not fully vet them. They are choosing these candidates based on their acting ability.
Democrats are also telling their ‘people’ to learn to talk about sports. Is that telling or what? LOL
The fact democrats felt a man who’s only civilian job is selling oysters to his mother’s restaurant made him a blue collar worker is stunning. Ignore all those liberal elite private schools he went to...
White liberal elites should stick with running ‘firsts’ - first man who wears red dresses and grew up wanting to be a rabbit. At least they’re fun to watch....
Only to be spat out as entirely rancid.
Come on. Collins will win. She’s faced tougher opponents before. Think of the Profile in Courage vote for Kavanaugh. She’s not really republican but she is very MAINE. The left is having a cow over the R next to her name. That ain’t good enough. There are 99 other seats they can fight over and they aren’t helping themselves in the other winnable seats.
We shouldn’t be salivating over this loser’s shortcomings. We have other fish to fry like in Georgia and Michigan.
Collins votes about 67% of the time in support of Trump’s policies. I was a bit surprised to find out her voting record wasn’t quite as Democrat-leaning as I thought.
Georgia? Impossible.
Michigan is winnable only because the Democrats are having an Islamist running for the seat.
The Democrats may win Senate seat in NC, but Republicans gain in the Senate.
I’m bullish Republicans keep the House.
the leftist media rushed to get this stuff out before the deadline for withdrawal and replacement was reached ...
I don’t see how we gain in the senate if(when) we lose NC. We’d have to win 2 so ending up with 52 senators may be the best we can do. When it’s over our guns can point to Thune and Murkowski. Our 52 would be more conservative.
