Thanks for posting this. I’m not one that will watch ethnic-swapped characters in historic movies or series, and I definitely won’t be watching this one. I didn’t watch the Anne Boleyn series because a black woman was in that role, nor will I watch Bridgerton.

Ellen Page is in this film as a male soldier. Dreadful and repulsive. There is no end to their “pretend” characters to the point they pretend in real life.

The Critical Drinker is the go-to movie reviewer for me-as much for entertainment value as judgement.
I like Christoper Nolan’s work, but I am not seeing this one. If I am bored, I may check it out from the library or watch free streaming, but I won’t pay money to see for the reasons he outlines.

I’m not one that will watch ethnic-swapped characters...I'm holding out for the Barack and Michelle Story starring Carrot Top and Rosie O'Donut.

ἄνδρα μοι ἔννεπε, μοῦσα....
Looks like they didn’t get the ἄνδρα part.

I will watch Jason and the Argonauts again, (1960?) or Troy with Brad Pitt—just for the eye wash of being forced to even watch a review of that crappy movie.

Ellen Page is snake bit. She is the kiss of death.

Are the suitors of Odysseus’s wife played by the dancers in the “French Mistake” scene of Blazing Saddles?

He's right. It's even worse in the UK.

Ellen Page was once a very pretty young lady. Sad what she has done to herself.

The Critical Drinker is pretty much spot on in his analysis of the film industry, and he is right on target with this video.
