Former President Joe Biden delivered a sharp critique of President Donald Trump during a speech to Maryland Democrats on Saturday night.
Speaking at the Maryland Democratic Party’s “Fight Back & Win” gala, Biden said Trump isn't focused on addressing Americans’ problems.
“It’s simply stunning to me. He has no shame,” Biden said.
Biden criticized Trump’s changes around Washington, D.C., including the White House ballroom and the Lincoln Memorial Reflecting Pool.
“These are vanity projects,” Biden said. “They’re not about making people’s lives better.”
Biden referred to Trump as “a loser” for using his "pool guy" to do the Reflecting Pool restoration.
The former president also accused Trump of using the presidency for personal financial gain.
“Never has a president done so much to benefit himself financially while in office,” Biden said.
Biden argued that Trump’s leadership has weakened the nation’s standing overseas.
“Our allies are questioning whether they can trust us,” Biden said. “Our adversaries are watching.”

Your Monday morning howler.
Got any evidence, hair-sniffer?
I do not care for this Biden fellow.
Was he talking to a mirror?
Gas prices coming down. Commies will complain about something else. How about the affordability of sporting event and concert tickets?
Bee headline.
Trump averted nuclear war and that counts for a lot to me.

Joe Biden has faced significant cancellations and challenges in securing speaking engagements post-presidency, with only a few appearances in 2025 due to health concerns and limited demand.
Recent Speaking Appearances
In 2025, Biden managed to attend only a handful of events. He spoke at the National High School Model United Nations in March, the national conference of Advocates, Counselors, and Representatives for the Disabled, and the Harvard Institute of Politics in April. Later, he appeared at the National Bar Association Gala and the Society of Human Resource Management Convention in July

Health and Cancellations
Biden’s health has been a major factor affecting his speaking schedule. His cancer diagnosis, revealed in May 2025, and previous incidents such as falling on stage at the Air Force Academy graduation, led officials to cancel several appearances to prevent physical strain

Post-Presidency Challenges
Beyond health, Biden has struggled to secure paid speaking engagements. His asking fee of $300,000 per speech is lower than former President Barack Obama’s $400,000 rate, yet demand has been limited

10% for the big guy...
Barely a few minutes into his speech, as he discussed how the story of America features a “constant push and pull between peril and possibility,” attendees began jeering loudly at Biden, who continued speaking as the interruption eventually subsided. Biden continued his speech without interruption, and it was unclear what the disruptors said or why they shouted.
The Department of Justice is offering a combined $3 billion for state and local governments to combat illegal immigration.
President Donald Trump’s officials posted the funding opportunity June 15 under the Bridging Immigration-Related Deficits Experienced Nationwide Program, or “BIDEN.” The program stems from provisions of the One Big Beautiful Bill Act, signed in July 2025, to assist states that resisted former President Joe Biden‘s policies that brought historically high illegal border crossings.
Joe - you showered with your daughter until she was 12…. Dont speak about shame.
Did he find the granddaughter he was looking for at the obama cinder block?
F him and his childish bellowing.
“Never has a president done so much to benefit himself financially while in office,” Biden said.
Must have been looking in a mirror.
I heard he get lost while trying to leave the stage again.
That in and of itself would nullify anything he said prior to.
“He has no shame”
And idiot Bydone has no brain. But as for shame, nothing beats out Bydones lack of shame for his useless son and the granddaughter he doesn’t want to know...
