The left wing has worked hard to find very clever ways to stop President Trump’s agenda without ever winning an election.
The formula was sinister and simple. Trump announces a new immigration policy. That cues progressive activist groups to race to court and file a lawsuit. A friendly federal activist judge somewhere in California, Hawaii, or D.C. slaps an injunction on the policy, and just like that, everything grinds to a screeching halt. The left is hoping that months drag on and turn into years, letting the lawsuits pile up, and hopefully the policy dies a slow, lonely death before the American people ever get to see if it works.
This was the Left’s weaponized political strategy, and for a while, it worked. It stalled Trump’s agenda, tied up his policies, and gave activists more time to fight every move in court.
But it also backfired. Trump quickly pushed these cases through the judicial system, and now these rulings are helping pave the way for mass deportations, and they tie the left’s hands in many respects.
But under the left’s plan, one activist judge could overrule the executive branch and leave Americans wondering who was actually running the country: the guy they voted for or unelected radical judges?
But now, the Supreme Court just changed that in a very big way.
Two immigration rulings handed down the same day handed Team Trump two huge additional wins. But even better, they strike at the legal heart of the left’s strategy of endless litigation and injunctions. The days of using the courts to automatically freeze every immigration policy may finally be coming to an end.
Yes, you read the headlines, and it sounds like Trump won more immigration cases.
And that’s true, but it barely scratches the surface of what’s really happening.
Edward T. Winslow:
🚨 let me tell you what “the courts cannot stop it” means when SCOTUS says it.. because I’m sure most people don’t know..
it means the Ninth Circuit is done..
for years the Ninth Circuit blocked every TPS termination.. every metering policy.. every turnback order.. judges in San Francisco and D.C. issued injunctions the same week DHS tried to enforce anything..
that was the strategy.. not the law.. the injunctions..
on June 25, 2026.. SCOTUS ruled 6-3 in two separate cases.. same day.. same margin.. both times..
case one: federal courts generally cannot review TPS termination decisions.. Kristi Noem’s calls are now shielded.. no more injunction shopping..
case two: if you’re standing in Mexico you have not “arrived in the United States” under federal law.. no right to apply for asylum.. no mandatory inspection.. no foothold..
and here’s what nobody wants to say out loud..
350,000 Haitian TPS holders are now in deportation proceedings with no court able to pause it.. every asylum seeker at every port of entry along 2,000 miles of border is now legally turnable before they take one step onto US soil..
the metering policy was blocked for nearly a decade.. it’s back today with Supreme Court backing..
this is the same playbook that ended in 1954 when the court finally gave the executive branch back its immigration authority.. and it took 30 years of litigation to get there..
“the courts cannot stop it” doesn’t mean Trump won a policy fight.. it means the legal infrastructure the other side built to slow enforcement for years just got ruled unconstitutional..
two rulings.. one day.. zero injunctions left standing.
I’ll share more updates shortly. Turn on notifications, this is very important.
Let’s be real, we’ve all seen these activist lower courts go into full political “battle mode” against President Trump’s agenda. The agenda that the American people voted for.
Over and over, so many major deportation and immigration enforcement efforts were frozen almost as soon as they were announced. These activist judges were calling the shots, and they were never elected to do that.
Politics comes and goes, and administrations change, but these two Supreme Court rulings will leave a lasting mark on the Left’s game plan to weaponize judges and the judicial system for their political agenda.
Now, the American people can take a breath and know that judges won’t be able to so easily step in, play “fake president,” and overrule what voters want.

“350,000 Haitian TPS holders are now in deportation proceedings with no court able to pause it.”
A good start.
Doesn’t matter now. The SCOTUS says they cannot stop anything..............
Supreme Court decisions are meaningless to people who ignore the law and the Supreme Courts orders if they don’t like them.
Mamdani said “SCOTUS? Who the hell cares? We won’t respect that.”
What happens then? Supreme Court rulings go away?
You lost.
Mom’s-dummy needs the Black Jack Pershing “Moro Cure”...
Mamdani says he will ignore the ruling.
He wants the fight, the President shall provide it.
Trump should ignore the NYC “begging bowl” for the rest of his term...
Why?
Do you think it is a trap?
Alabama Governor George Wallace had campaigned on a platform of "segregation now, segregation tomorrow, segregation forever." When federal court orders required the University of Alabama to admit Black students, Wallace vowed to stand physically in the doorway to block their enrollment.
On June 11, 1963, two Black students—Vivian Malone and James Hood—attempted to register at the university. Wallace positioned himself in the doorway of the auditorium in a dramatic (but ultimately symbolic) gesture of defiance. US troops were dispatched when the federal government made clear it would enforce the court's desegregation order:
Wallace eventually stepped aside—his confrontation lasted only a few hours. The students were allowed to register, and desegregation proceeded. The event:
Ignore the immigration ruling, ignore the money begging...
No need for that.
Just dispatch ICE and arrest them. If Hizzonor gets in the way, arrest him as well.
NYC public does not seem to care what anybody is doing.
The only way to save NYC at this point is for there to be a massive deportation effort by DHS/ICE. The same goes for several other blue cities and counties across the nation.
For instance, Gwinnett County, Georgia which used to be a conservative middle class county is now filled with Mexicans, Indians, and Guatemalans, and the county is solidly blue. We need ICE to spend about 3 months in the county to return it to an American part of the state.
When the democrats win they pack SCOTUS and it is all done.
“Just dispatch ICE and arrest them”
The commies all over the country have assaulted our federal buildings with lots of their “troops.” We have looked powerless and feckless against them. It’ll be more of the same if we just dispatch ICE to NYC and it’ll fester forever. Troops would end that. We are getting to that time.
But remember, folks, there is no difference in who gets elected. Had John Kerry or Hillary! gotten elected and nominated these SCOTUS justices instead respectively, they would have made these same rulings... < / s >
