In New York City, gonorrhea rates have doubled over the last 10 years and syphilis cases are rising statewide. Mayor Zohran Mamdani boasted that "my predecessors were negligent in dealing with this crisis, but I have secured a cheap supply of chocolate condoms that we are distributing free-of-charge to those who need them."
Apprised that the condoms are manufactured by a Malaysian company that has been accused of slavery, the Mayor pointed out "none of these slaves are my constituents. I am not responsible for their welfare. I am responsible for the welfare of New Yorkers and will not apologize for keeping the cost of providing for them as low as I can."
Councilwoman Pierina Sanchez, defended the Mayor, saying "the free chocolate flavored condoms are necessary because inequities persist among women, low-income households, and Black and Latino New Yorkers. They are doubly beneficial because they can also be eaten after being used to prevent pregnancy and venereal disease."
In related news, Mamdani has endorsed Darializa Avila Chevalier, for the congressional seat currently held by Rep. Adriano Espaillat (D-NY). Chevalier opposes all deportations, arguing that "it constitutes double jeopardy--something our Constitution explicitly prohibits. Either we deport the person or we prosecute him for his alleged other crimes, but not both. ICE says they are going after the worst of the worst in their deportation efforts, but we don't know who are the worst until they've been tried and convicted for a crime committed in this country. Crimes allegedly committed in other countries are not our responsibility."

Why would Mamdani care if these condoms are made by slaves? His constituents are essentially slaves to the government under Democratic Socialism. Made by slaves, made for slaves. See, there is equality.
There are millions of people in NYC, so there are going to at least be a dozen people winding up in the ER after eating one of the damn things thinking that they’re oral contraceptives, especially with the chocolate flavor.

You do know that some use the condoms for “other” types of sex, right?
As Rush Limbaugh would say, “I didn’t know they had taste buds down there!”
