Whistleblowers Silenced by Gov Walz [semi-satire]

Citing a report--titled "The Cost of Doing Nothing: How Tim Walz and Keith Ellison Fueled Minnesota's Fraud Explosion"--prepared by the House Oversight Committee, Vice President JD Vance has asked the Department of Justice (DOJ) "to investigate Gov. Tim Walz, Attorney General Keith Ellison and other high officials. According to the testimony of over 30 whistleblowers, their efforts to inform the Governor of the extensive corruption in state-administered grants to firms supposedly providing benefits to needy clients were repeatedly ignored or rebuffed, and those trying to expose the fraud were intimidated."

In the Committee hearings Walz testified "I never personally observed any misuse of these funds. Many of the contracts were let to members of our large immigrant community. I knew many of these people. They generously donated to my campaign for governor. I could not believe that their businesses were fake. I was afraid that false claims of fraud could defame these seemingly hardworking people. Naturally, I discounted the continuing rumors of corruption."

A Minnesota Department of Education (MDE) employee asserted "we weren't relaying rumors. We couldn't verify that actual clients were receiving benefits. Children who were supposedly attending daycare centers were never present on occasions when we visited the sites. Many of the sites were simply empty rooms with no facilities to accommodate lessons or play activities. Yet, funds were continuously paid out to the so-called operators. When I contacted the FBI told federal investigators I was reprimanded by people from the Governors office and told to stop what I was doing."

House Oversight Committee chairman James Comer (R-Ky) estimated that "about $9 billion in federal funds went missing during Walz's tenure as governor. This is a lot of money. Based on all the testimony I heard, little, if any, of it, was of benefit to the intended recipients."

“whistleblowers .. ignored, rebuffed ... those trying to expose fraud intimidated.”

In CA TX FL GA IL MI PA NY, Most states & all the big states (not MN) whistleblowers on both the left and right have called out Deloitte as the #1 welfare FRAUD and the system that makes much other welfare possible. These whistleblowers are mostly ignored.

Gov. Waltz: "Many of the [Fraudulent] contracts were let to members of our large immigrant community. I knew many of these people. They generously donated to my campaign for governor."

Pinpoints the reason Waltz may be on the way to Federal Prison.
