What difference does it really make? Collins is always a vote against MAGA.
I don’t think Collins is the greatest but she is a lot better than Murkowski or McConnell. We get the majority of her votes which must be put in the context that we would get NONE of a Democrat’s votes.
Janet Mills the current Governor will be the Democratic Candidate, she was actively campaigning before Platner pulled way ahead in the polls, I think she’s technically still on the ballot even though she’s not actively running.

Be prepared for the bait and switch. The Democrat party will not stick with a candidate that’s polling behind. Planter will resign and get replaced by a party selected choice - similar to the Harris situation.
