New: Alleged Manifesto in San Diego Mosque Mass Shooting Throws Wrench in Early Assumptions About Motives

As RedState reported, there was a mass shooting at the Islamic Center of San Diego on Monday, just before noon Pacific time.

Three people were killed, including a security guard at the mosque named Amin Abdullah, who reportedly "played a pivotal role" in saving lives.

Early on, San Diego Police Chief Scott Wahl told reporters without going into too much detail that "There was definitely hate rhetoric involved" in the shootings.

On Tuesday, however, some of the pages from the alleged manifesto of the shooters were shared in an X thread by San Diego activist Amy Reichert, and it disrupted some of the narratives that have been spouted by The Usual Suspects about how the gunmen must have been extremist right-wing pro-Trump/Vance MAGAs who were motivated by a hatred of Muslims (language warning):

Sounds like Amy R. is protecting the leftist narrative here.

Read the manifesto the.Mexican looking one says he is half Spanish, part French and North Mexican and is 80% European he considered himself White and with 80% European DNA he would genetically be White under the old Spanish casta system he would have been one step under Peninsularos.

These guys were actual Nazi’s and Incels too. They hated the Jews most pages of it. Cleanly says they are not MAGA in fact they called for the left to take them out by any means necessary that is the opposite of MAGA. They hated gays and trans spent a page on that. Incels hate anyone getting sex being involuntarily celibate hence the Incel title.

Messed up kids. They didn’t die well you can watch the video they live steamed it. Took two shots for one and the other didn’t flop out right away.

Too perfectly written for a 17 and 18 year old. Almost like it was AI generated.

I’ll hold my conclusion until the ops release the actual doc.

Yeah, messed up kids. I’m sorry they felt the way they did. What worthless lives if you throw them away like that. But yeah, mexicans.

How dare you malign a great Syrian-American actor! (Heh-heh!)

From the excerpt:

San Diego Police Chief Scott Wahl told reporters without going into too much detail that "There was definitely hate rhetoric involved" in the shootings.
There usually is in murder cases.

Murderers are rarely heard muttering, "Yuh know, these are actually pretty nice fellahs here I'm murderizing!" while mowing down their victims.

In my opinion, they look like they were both pulled out of the same cloning vat.

False Dilemma! I would thoroughly expect any such lengthy document penned by today's teenagers to be largely A.I.-generated.

One particular tell of AI-generated text is AI’s fetish for the Rule of Three.

White school boys that hated women and minorities!

As a former high school teacher, I understand exactly what created this hatred.

A whipped dog will eventually bite you - not a justification, just an observation.

Drawing a total blank - I know I know the actor and the context - but just drawing a blank - please - who is this?

From the Artificial Intelligence itself:
1. In AI-Generated Text. If you ask an AI to write an article or generate examples, it will almost always provide exactly three points, bullets, or paragraphs. It also frequently uses triadic sentence structures (e.g., “not this, not that, but something else”). This makes identifying AI-generated content much easier, as it often feels highly formulaic

Michael Ansara, right?

Of course!

I'll always think of him as "Kang!"

Fun fact: Before getting divorced and then marrying Barbara Eden, he had been married to Hollywood star Jean Byron - known later in her career (in the 1960s) primarily as the t.v. mother of Patty Duke in "The Patty Duke Show."

One particular tell of AI-generated text is AI’s fetish for the Rule of Three.

How very perceptive of you! That's not a superficial characteristic one recognizes after only casual observation - that's a subtle rhetorical earmark that normally only a trained copy-editor would spot!

Would you like me to guide you through the various other syntactical peculiarities often associated with A.I.-generated texts?
