what I notice is that every gun killing in many states involves arrests and questions of whether the person SHOULD HAVE DIED.
There seems to be an issue that all wrongdoing and violence must be met with minimal force... whatever that may be?
The first thing, Mr. Lott, is to stop using the terms of the Left. “Advocates” is what liberals use to describe people they agree with. They are “gun control extremists” or “gun grabbers”.
It only works if you comply and give up.

One reason I can think of to buy another gun of a similar type after having one is to be able to buy ammunition of the same type for the off-the-books gun.
The second gun might get confiscated, but the first one will remain unknown and have a supply of ammo.
Ammo,lots and lots of ammo.
Try to imagine a world without guns: Timur the Lame constructed pyramids. Of human heads. No guns.
