Democrat Special Election Primary...US House seat—— “Progressive” declared the winner
Analilia Mejia’s stunning win; N.J. progressives scored
what may be their biggest victory ever – how did it happen?

AIPAC gave itself a black eye by the win. The story of the 11th district primary is incomplete without mentioning the American Israel Public Affairs Committee. AIPAC went nuclear against Tom Malinowski – it spent more than $2 million on anti-Malinowski attack ads because, it claimed, “he was too hesitant to support unconditional aid to Israel” – AIPAC enabled Mejia an even more left-wing candidate who said “Israel was committing genocide in Gaza” to win instead.
Can Mejia’s victory be attributed to AIPAC’s spending?Probably; Malinowski lost by a little over a thousand votes, and he did much better among voters who voted the earliest, ........before AIPAC’s onslaught began.
If AIPAC had stayed out of the race entirely, it might have at least ended up with someone “who would have picked up the phone when AIPAC called,” Seth Mandel wrote in the Jewish magazine “Commentary.”
Regardless, AIPAC came nowhere near the outcome it was actually hoping for (a victory by pro-Israel Tahesha Way, or Brendan Gill).
And in the process, it alienated many Democrats who have otherwise been allies. “AIPAC pissed off a lot of people, including me,” said Andy Kim, a Malinowski supporter. “[Malinowski] shouldn’t have been treated that way, and it just shows the dirty tactics AIPAC’s using. I hate it, and it boils my blood.”
Interesting aspect of that contest we shall see how all this plays out down the road.
The situation right now with Israel supporters is one of fear and anxiety following October 7th and the Israeli military operation in Gaza that followed and created a backlash worldwide.
The Epstein Files raised the temp even more.
Fear is a ten-ton elephant in the Pro-Israel camp right now I am grateful God’s Love removes Fear.
He never leaves nor forsakes us.
Following the October 7, 2023, Hamas attack on Israel and Israel’s war of genocide in Gaza, supporters of Israel have experienced profound fear, anxiety, and trauma, driven by a surge in global antisemitism and concerns for personal safety.
This emotional state is heavily influenced by the trauma of the attacks and a sense of isolation. Many in the Jewish community felt a deep, traumatic impact similar to the Holocaust, coupled with fear of harassment or violence as global opinion shifted.
Supporters of Israel have faced increased hostility, with many Jewish students on college campuses reporting feelings of personal danger and being targeted.
The conflict has created, in some cases, a divided response, with some supporters feeling that their grief is not acknowledged by others.
Overall, the period following October 7th has been marked by significant emotional distress for many who support Israel, characterized by fear, anxiety, and a feeling of being under attack.
