Just in the past few weeks, it has come to the attention of the American People that, in many cities across the country, Teachers are taking entire classes of students out of school to demonstrate against the Immigration and Customs Enforcement officers who are enforcing Federal Law by removing Illegal Alien Criminals from our midst. These mostly far-left teachers are also teaching their students about how to “demonstrate” against their own government, and how to act in ways that might injure them. Yes, that’s what Teachers, paid with YOUR tax money, are indoctrinating your children to do. Yeah, these “teachers.”

...

The average public school student cannot read, write, or do math at grade level, and teachers are illegally endangering their lives by taking them out of class to participate in sometimes violent demonstrations against the Federal Government.

See the constitution, article IV section 4. The federal government is responsible to stop civil unrest. In a word, this is insurrection.

The GOP really ought to jump on School Choice and they should also promote homeschooling.

Parents should have options beyond government schools. What’s the downside? Does anyone think the Teachers Unions will get angry and support the Republicans less?

Especially now with AI — it’s not a magic one-size-fits-all solution for education, but certainly a lot of kids could learn a lot of subjects from working directly with a custom-made (government funded) AI system. There is a lot of potential there, and once the money is spent on a good AI system, then it’s there and working for decades to come. Very cost effective. It’s just another tool to place in the tool box for educating kids.

I’ve kept an eye on what they’re teaching/telling my kid from kindergarten on. So far no probs. If anything they lean right. When some group of other came after our Thunderbirds mascot they were invited to get lost.

In Oregon it’s against the law to use school resources to advocate for any political position.
Someone needs sued.

private school teachers are more likely than not to hold similar ideologies, unfortunately.

I got permanently banned from my city subreddit cause I asked if it was school sponsored event and if any students skipping classes would get suspensions or other consequences

Later that day it was announced all the kids back in class.

I said I hoped they only missed their gender studies/proper pronouns classes

Oops

See the 10th amendment. The Dept of Education is unconstitutional.

The nationalization of schools, teachers and students is the expected outcome of nationalizing education.
