When the mother of a black Texas middle schooler claimed in 2021 that a group of white students made her son drink urine, media outlets from NBC to CNN and ABC covered the story. “Texas authorities investigating allegations of racism and bullying of a 13-year-old by his classmates during sleepover,” a CNN headline blared. Nearly five years later, we’re learning it was a giant hoax. None of the outlets that covered the case have written follow-up stories despite the lurid (and defamatory) nature of the allegations...
Last month, a Texas district court judge in Collin County, in suburban Dallas, ordered the “victim’s” mother, Summer Smith, and her attorney, Kim Cole, to pay $3.2 million in damages to the white student they accused of bullying. A racially diverse jury ruled that they cooked up the allegations to raise their profiles and rake in nearly $120,000 in GoFundMe donations at the height of the BLM hysteria.
Mainstream media coverage was a key part of the plan. Smith and her son, along with Cole, discussed the hoax on Good Morning America, where co-anchor Linsey Davis promoted the GoFundMe to the ABC program’s millions of viewers, promising that funds raised would pay for “therapy and private schooling.” In fact, account statements show Smith spent the overwhelming majority of the funds on luxuries including “a designer dog, dining and travel, beauty products, liquor, vapes, cell phones, car payments, and rent,” our Andrew Kerr reports. Good Morning America has not followed up. Smith said she plans to appeal.
Kerr talked to the student who was falsely accused of organizing the attack, Asher Vann, who is now a college freshman.

In NYC alone, there was Tawana Brawley, those two kids who spray-painted their own faces white and said racists did it. In Yonkers, there was civil rights "activist" who put racially charged graffiti on a wall opposite her apartment, but got caught doing it on film. Then in Chicago there's "Juicy" Smollet. That's what comes immediately to mind. I know I missed a lot. Please add to the list.

I see it’s not just white-on-black fakery lately. People like this need to be punished regardless of the identity of the “victim” and the “perp”. It’s intolerable.
The ultimate one for me was the Duke Lacrosse hoax, it was a massive national media event that the entire system of college, media, the legal system and local government all worked together on.

So then you’ll have state sanctioned censorship, as well as state sponsored hoaxes, such as Covid and J6. Let the rich men buy and slant away. Elon Musk saved us all by buying Twitter. Everybody can slant their own kind of music, sing their own special songs, and prove one another wrong. This Washington Free Beacon story is just another example of that dynamic at work.
It appears the attorney Kim Cole has not been disciplined by the State Bar of Texas. Some animals are more equal than others.
Good verdict - hope they push hard for any money.

It appears that there is a rich vein of doxxers for some enterprising legal beagles to mine.
Doxxing is illegal if the text includes threats, etc.

That’s the point - as long as the media is complicit, the hoaxes are SUCCESSFUL, regardless of whether they get debunked...since very few ever find out they’ve been debunked.
