I’ve recently wondered if they’d let me in. France still takes me. Would be an honor to be banned.
Getting into an EU country has never been a problem for me. Getting out, well I’ve learned to get to the airport early and to have time for interaction with various officials while trying to identify the weapons the unsmiling folks standing in the open doorway are carrying.
Come to think of it when I was leaving Russia the agent checking papers stepped aside so that a supervisor could go through my documents.
Don’t know how the actual citizens of Formerly Great Britain put up with this crap. Comes from giving up the right to self defense, I guess.
The food sucks anyway.

Precisely the reason I've decided to not renew my passport. I enjoyed traveling in Europe and Turkey as an employee in the 90's. It is no longer safe to do so. I'll turn 70 in August. I'm happy to hang around my home in Idaho.
