The ongoing Somali fraud scandal has brought an end to Governor Tim Walz’s political career in Minnesota.
He announced this morning that he will not seek a third term.
Here is Walz’s full statement via KTTC:
In September, I announced that I would run for a historic third term as Minnesota’s Governor. And I have every confidence that, if I gave it my all, I would succeed in that effort.
But as I reflected on this moment with my family and my team over the holidays, I came to the conclusion that I can’t give a political campaign my all. Every minute I spend defending my own political interests would be a minute I can’t spend defending the people of Minnesota against the criminals who prey on our generosity and the cynics who prey on our differences.
So I’ve decided to step out of the race and let others worry about the election while I focus on the work.
I know this news may come as a surprise. But I’m passing on the race with zero sadness and zero regret. After all, I didn’t run for this job so I could have this job. I ran for this job so I could do this job. Minnesota faces an enormous challenge this year. And I refuse to spend even one minute of 2026 doing anything other than rising to meet the moment. Minnesota has to come first – always.
Axios reports that Senator Amy Klobuchar and Attorney General Keith Ellison could now jump in the race.

The Gateway Pundit’s Kristinn Taylor previously reported that Walz would likely announce his decision to drop out of his reelection bid for a third term on Monday. Walz’s office said that he would hold an 11 a.m. CST press conference on Monday.
The Gateway Pundit reported on independent journalist Nick Shirley’s explosive exclusive on Somali fraud, which exposed millions of dollars in fraud involving Somali daycare centers in Minnesota.
Shirley shared clips of his investigation on X, including footage of the door being slammed in his face while he asked a Minnesota Childcare Center that claims to care for 102 children, which appeared empty.
Shirley released the full 42-minute video of his investigation, noting, “We uncovered over $110,000,000 in ONE day.”

The Somalian fraud and Walz’s apparent involvement has been known for years. But the media worked hard to keep the story off the front pages.
Now, a youtuber brought it to the attention of the nation and within just a few days Walz bit the dust.
Mainstream media is now irrelevant and a thing of the past.

Now DOJ needs to go after the clown for RICO—along with Ellison.

It may be that every major Dem politician in the state got kickbacks from the Somalis.

The dem party will guarantee him a very well paid job away from the public’s eye as a reward for the way he tried to destroy this country.
This is probably the best indicator that the fraud is much, much worse than Walz and the Democrats have admitted, and that (hopefully) will be revealed soon.
Walz has his defense ready.

He then gets to argue that he is not “really” white—he just looks like one.

He should be in a padded room in a prison.
Best action is to federally indict him, do a forensic analysis of everything he owns, then get him to turn state’s evidence to uproot the corruption of the Democratic Party in Minnessota and arrest none too gently as many as possible. Prison is the only thing they fear.
