From London, another story about disgusting protesters: “‘Tax the rich’ activists vandalise Crown Jewels with crumble and custard.”
Police arrested four people after officers rushed to the Tower following reports of an incident shortly before 10am.
They found that food had been thrown onto a case containing the State Crown, which is used at coronations and state openings of Parliament.
A group calling itself Take Back Power staged the attack, with members of the group filmed unfurling a sign reading: “Democracy has crumbled – tax the rich”.
Anyone who thinks Britain’s problem is that it doesn’t sufficiently tax the “rich” is an idiot. And I don’t think these goofs would have much success “taking back power” from anyone:

On Wednesday afternoon, members of Take Back Power emptied bags of manure next to the 25ft Christmas tree in the lobby of the Ritz Hotel, in central London, in a demonstration against wealth inequality.
They were seen in footage posted on social media being swiftly removed by staff before sitting outside the hotel with signs reading “Inequality is s—. Tax the rich”.
Off with their heads!
To bad the protestors aren’t focusing on real issues. It’s not the wealthy in Britain that are raping the minors.

Photography is prohibited in the Crown Jewel vault. There’s a stairwell going down into the vault that used to have a piece of fishing line strung overhead across it. As a warning to others who might be tempted to try it, that fishing line was draped with unrolled rolls of photographic film they had confiscated from tourists trying to break the “no photography” rule.
What they should do with these two is gut them and hang them by their heels for all tourists to walk beneath on their way down the stairs as a warning not to try it again.
Instead they put their picture on the news, which was their goal all along.

last time I was in the UK I took pictures of the fake crown jewels that were on display, the guards got really pissy with me.

Why don’t they get a job and instead of doing things stupid like this, enjoy a nice meal with friends or family at a restaurant with their earnings, go bowling, watch a movie, etc.?
I can’t figure out how someone gets to the point they decide to spend any part of their life doing things like this.
They shouldn’t have had time to be able to pose for pictures after their vandalism - immediately tackled and arrested. What were the guards doing that they had time to set up their banner, get in position, and pose for a photo?
How convenient is it that the jewel vault is in the Tower of London which, I have on good authority, has facilities that are perfect for "reconditioning" malcontents like these two carpet munchers.
