Christianity Today is doubling down on woke.
The Christianity Today Board of Directors has unanimously elected Dr. Nicole Massie Martin as its next President and CEO.
Dr. Martin has an impressive academic resume. She's the founder of SoulFire Ministries with degrees from Vanderbilt, Princeton, and Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary, where she currently works.
And, of course, she's as woke as the day is long. Here's an article from the good doctor from one year ago about voting for Kamala Harris:
At ages 9 and 11, my girls watched my husband and me vote for the one we believed would be the best-qualified president of the United States, Vice President Kamala Harris. And now they witness the grief that comes from knowing that the candidate we championed has lost the race. They watched as our faces fell when we heard the results. They experienced our sorrow, not only for this loss but also for the fear of what might happen in the coming days and years.
Billy Graham is turning over in his grave. Here's another small sampling from Dr. Martin's author page at CT:
Welp. It's not like Christianity Today has been a serious publication for years anyways.
Oh, here's an excerpt from Nicole's book, "Nailing It":
Black Americans remain the most targeted group for hate crimes, they too saw an increase in traumatic murders and hate crimes during this season. Millions of people watched as George Floyd's life was snuffed out as he suffocated under a police officer's knee, further underscoring the racialization of death for petty crimes. Black men dying for small infractions has become a common occurrence in America, and while some called 2020 a year of "racial reckoning," others felt that nothing changed.

“Christianity Today” is everything BUT!

(βChristianity Todayβ is everything BUT!)
Sadly, that is absolutely correct
There is something about human nature and entropy thatβs highly predictive.
Sometimes, Christianity is a lagging indicator of general society. Many such organizations appear to remain stuck in a year 2023 (pre second Administration Trump) mindset, back when DEI and Trans are always right was the common policy
Saint George died at ~9pm from a self-inflicted fentanyl/meth overdose...as per the coroner's report.
Like everything else evil liberals touch, CT will be dead in the very near future by choosing to associate with such a dead soul.
Isaiah 5:20
Woe to those who call evil good, and good evil; Who put darkness for light, and light for darkness; Who put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!
Romans 1:18
The wrath of God is being revealed from heaven against all the godlessness and wickedness of men who suppress the truth by their wickedness.
I thought it should have been written as:
“my husband and I” vs “my husband and me”.
I suppose it no longer matters.
and what an abomination to God our Father who NEVER gave the Rainbow to Satan!
As I understand it you are supposed to split it when referring to another person and yourself.
You put the other person first and then yourself.
When you split it then it’s actually correct believe it or not.
Others please advise.
(my girls watched my husband and me vote )
my girls watched my husband vote
my girls watched me vote
I think π€π€π€ this is correct
(split for example)
Someone let us know if that’s not correct, please
Thanks in advance
Actually, “my husband and me” is gramatically correct, her error of judgement notwithstanding.
Is there a centerfold featuring a semi nude tranny one month and 10 year old the next? Today’s Christianity is not your grandparents Christianity.
Probably not dead but yet another tool
that will be used to help usher in
Satan’s Antichrist and False Prophet
and deceive the Whole World πππ
Under the guise of a pro-Gay, pro-Poofter,
Pro-Drag Queen, Pro-Homosexual, pro-Pride Parade,
Pro-Abortion Liberal FAKE “christianity”
Another Apostasy of the Last Days
of the Church Age
CT has been declining for a while
“My husband and me voted” is incorrect. The way to tell is:
“Me voted” vs. “I voted”
“My husband and I voted” is correct.
